Power Instinct réussit son passage sur la Neo·Geo avec les honneurs. L'humour omniprésent et la bande-son déjantée en font un digne représentant de sa lignée. Une lignée certes moins prestigieuse que King of Fighters ou Samurai Shodown, mais une lignée digne d'intérêt. Il est certain qu'il ne fait pas vraiment le poids face aux ténors de la Neo·Geo, toutefois le but est atteint : amuser dans tous les sens du terme.
