恐怖の精神病院は、プレイヤーが視点トップダウンから3台のロボットのいずれかを制御し、そのパスを横切るほとんどすべてを爆破する必要があるシューティングゲームです。話によると、本来は無害と卑しい雑用を実行するために作成された生体力学的な生き物は、恐ろしい生き物に変異しており、地球上で撮影しました。プレイヤーはbiomechの専制政治に終止符を打つために、3台のロボットまでのチームを制御する必要があり傭兵の役割を担います。
