Freddie ist ein Telefontechniker, der auf Telegrafenmasten klettern muss, um Goldtöpfe einzusammeln und den gefürchteten Greeblies auszuweichen. Die Greeblies nehmen mit jedem neuen Bildschirm eine andere Form an, aber eines ist sicher: Sie sehen zwar niedlich aus, aber sie kennen keine Gnade! Frantic Freddie bietet außerdem verrückte Nachrichten, lustige Zwischenspiele und alberne Boni. Frantic Freddie – ein Spiel mit Sinn für Humor!
