Super Xevious
"Super Xevious", l'évolution tant attendue du classique de Namco, fait un atterrissage sur la NeoGeo! Sorti en mars 2023 par le duo Mark McDougall (tcdev) et Jean-François Fabre (jotd), cette version s'érige comme un remarquable hommage homebrew à ce titan des shoot'em up.
Le mode TATE, caractéristique rare pour la NeoGeo est à noter : pensez à tourner votre TV ou borne SNK :/ .
Graphiquement, "Super Xevious" reste fidèle à ses racines, tout en offrant des améliorations subtiles qui rappellent pourquoi le mot "Super" est attaché à son nom. Le gameplay, quant à lui, évolue subtilement tout en conservant la saveur addictive qui a fait la renommée du titre original.
