ZeroRanger is a vertically scrolling 2D shoot'em up with heavy emphasis on shooting, dodging and... mystery? Although the developer duo has a huge reverence for arcade sensibilities, ZeroRanger recognizes how many of these elements have also obscured over time, turning into something many genre aficionados may take for granted while alienating newcomers. ZeroRanger strives to clarify and re-contextualize these core design principles in order to bring forth the intangible sensation many classic arcade gauntlets continue to do to this very day.
