Project Highrise is a 2D tower-building simulation game, said to be a spiritual successor to SimTower.[It was released worldwide on September 8, 2016.
Based on details in game, it appears to take place in 1960s Chicago, Illinois.

The player starts off with a simple one-story building with a basement, both measuring 20 unit blocks. The basement contains a small power generator and a construction crew. He/she can expand his building by building small one-unit blocks. He can either choose to build offices, shops, apartments or restaurants. He can build floors, but they have to be connected via an elevator or a staircase.
