It was released April 4, 2008 in the UK, Germany and France. Prior to the release in EU, the game came out in Russia on December 20, 2007, and was published by Russobit-M. Fate of Hellas is a stand-alone expansion pack for Ancient Wars: Sparta with two new campaigns, featuring the Spartans and Macedonians.
