F.E.A.R. 3 (stylized in the logo as F.3.A.R) is the third installment of the FPS/horror series developed by Day 1 Studios. It takes place nine months after the events of previous games. The antagonist of the first game, Paxton Fettel, frees the Point Man from an asylum, where he was interrogated by the Armacham security. Together with Fettel, the player is tasked with finding a fellow operative and uncover the truth behind Alma and the evil Armacham corporation that created her.

Campaign is split into eight "Intervals" that can be played in either single-player or co-op.
