The expansion includes a new campaign and new maps and units. It also features two new sides, Xenites and Shadowhand, bringing the total number of playable races to 4. Each contains its own unique units and buildings. The Imperium and Freedom Guard forces combined their technology into the Togran civilization. The Shadowhand contains most of the imperium units and buildings and Xenites contains most of the Freedom Guard units and buildings.
