In Cavity Crusader the player has to protect teeth from bacteria. To do so he shoots at them while they are floating around. If he doesn't shoot them in time they start to damage the teeth. There are three types of bacteria which differ in size, hit points and danger. After the time limit is expired the player gets presented with his score. Points are rewarded for killing bacteria and for undamaged teeth. There are four difficulty levels.
