This is a recreational software package that allows the user to create animations with a minimal level of sophistication by utilising a library of backdrops, animations and sound effects from the 1990s Marvel Comics television series, Spider-Man: The Animated Series. The game features narration by Christopher Daniel Barnes, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the animated series. The game includes all the major characters from the animated series, and for each cast member, typically includes three animations. The game includes original music and some characters not found in the animated series who were dropped half way through production such as the Beetle. A sequel was released, X-Men Cartoon Maker which could be installed over the top of this package and includes the animation from both. Choose from backgrounds such as the Kingpin's Headquarters or the Underground Subway Tunnel, then stamp in props to set the stage. Just click to hear Spider-Man himself to explain all the options.
