The planet Caladon is in trouble and needs help. In this story, you will become part of the expedition team which will try to reach Tara, a recently settled planet far beyond the Wall of Stars. Along the way, you'll get to affect the outcome of the story by making a series of critical decisions about direction, strategy, tactics and teamwork.

Beyond the Wall of Stars is a multimedia-style game with adventure and light strategy elements. Most of the game consists of reading text accompanied by visuals that combine graphics with digitized images of live actors. The game prompts the player to make decisions that influence the course of the plot.
