バイオハザードサバイバーは、カプコンのサバイバルホラーシリーズのスピンオフです。代わりに、前のゲームのように三人称視点から文字のプレーヤーコントロールを与える、バイオハザードサバイバーは、一人称視点から行われます。もともと（カプコンは、銃暴力を超える高めのテンションを引用し、米国のリリースのうち、この機能を取ることにしました）光銃ゲームとして考え、それは本質的に1のように演じています。プレイヤーは自分のビューを回転し、廊下を上下に移動しますが、ゾンビが前かがみに来るとき、それらをダウンさせるために弾丸の雨を解き放つための時間となりますことがあります。
