Using the M.U.G.E.N. engine, Hyper Team Z2, led by Balthazar, created a 2D Dragon Ball fighting game inspired by Capcom's CPS-III games (such as Street Fighter III). The game receives sporadic updates with new characters. The characters used in Hyper Dragon Ball Z are drawn from scratch by the team behind the game.
