ワイルドアームズは、日本のソフトウェア会社Media.Visionとソニーの内部スタジオ飛行機雲によって開発された西部をテーマにしたコンピュータRPGです。もともとソニーのプレイステーションビデオゲームコンソールのために1996年に日本でリリースされ、それは後に翻訳され、ソニー・コンピュータエンタテインメントによって1998年に1997年、ヨーロッパで北米で発売されました。それは西洋アメリカン設定やモチーフを特徴とするものプレイステーションの最初のロールプレイングゲームの一つが、また、いくつかの一つではないだけのために注目すべきです。戦闘シーンが3Dで描画されながらゲームは、通常のゲームプレイのための2Dコンピュータグラフィックスを備えています。
