The Dark Lord controls and spreads evil over your land and so it is your quest to destroy him for good to save yourself and the people. The only way for the Dark Lord to be destroyed is to collect various items, including the most important, the True Ring and throw them in The Crack of Fire, high in the Mountains of Moldak. With your companion, Garston the Wise you must explore the land, find the objects and one by one take them to The Crack of Fire and throw them in. You will encounter many creatures and some have to be killed or you will die. Cracks of Fire is a text adventure inspired by Lord of the Rings where the screen has text describing your location and you type in commands with the keyboard to interact with your surroundings.
