Kl?twa ("The Curse") is an animated adventure game that takes place in an evil sorcerer's castle. The player moves around its rooms, collects objects and solves puzzles. The goal of the game is to get rid of the sorcerer and lift the curse from the land.

The player points to objects and elements of the scenery and chooses actions such as "Get", "Use", "Open" and so on. Each object or background element can have different actions available. The main character can carry up to five objects in his inventory and is also able to write down nine spells that can be used with nine different objects.
