Rebel is one of the longest running chess programs, with over 2 decades of version releases. It started as software to run dedicated chess machines. At version 6 it was released as stand alone software for the IBM, and continued with releases all the way until the mid 2000's before it shifted to Windows.

In the 1986 Cologne Computer Chess World Championship it took 5th place, which was quite impressive as it was running against several mainframes and dedicated hardware.

Included here are all released full versions for DOS.
