-Dance Master in the Information Menu-
If a song doesn't have steps for a particular difficulty, it does not count toward mastering that 
difficulty. The unlocks must be played as well.
 
For reference, there are 62 songs with Beginner-Heavy steps. 8 songs contain Challenge steps 
(Kakumei has every difficulty).

Extra Stage is MaxX Unlimited Heavy, 1.5x Reverse Dark Pressure (bar starts full and does not 
recover)
Encore Stage is Kakumei Challenge 3x Reverse Dark Sudden Death (break combo or miss a freeze and 
you're out)
 
Obtain an AA by either a full combo or a high Perfect ratio (varies by song). 
 
Note that if you pass either Extra or Encore stage, the corresponding song will become available 
for normal play if it isn't already.

Whether you're playing DDRMAX or DDRMAX2, if the workout data is on the same memory card, when you 
pop in one of the games, it'll automatically load your collected data from both games.
