If this is your first time playing this game, choose this difficulty. This is the easy difficulty. The enemies aren't very strong and there is plenty of armour in the levels. Defeated guards will also drop lots of ammo. (=============================================================================) ( Ground Zero ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 75000 Objectives: 1. Retrieve nuclear device 2. Obtain a rocket launcher 3. Destroy the hover jet 4. Escape through wall Weapons =-------= P99 SPAS 12 MP5K SIG 552 AT-420 Gadgets =-------= Rappel |---------------------| | Mission Walkthrough | |---------------------| 1. Retrieve nuclear device When the mission starts you will be behind a pillar in a courtyard in Tajikistan. The first part of the mission is mainly a tutorial to get you used to the controls. Wall hug the pillar and then peek out and pick off any enemies you see. Once that's done, a short cutscene will show a hover jet appear and blow a hole in a wall near where you are. Crouch and slowly move toward the gap. Pick off any enemies and take cover behind the crates. You may take some damage here but there is plenty of armour around. When everyone is dead, pick up everyone's ammo and run for the suitcase in the centre of the courtyard. Make sure you have an SIG 552 equipped. 2. Obtain a rocket launcher Once you have the nuclear device, M will tell you to get a rocket launcher. This is when an enemy appears on a platform above you with a rocket launcher. Quickly shoot the rocket launcher guard above and then the guard that appears on the left. Go into the building he came from and go up the stairs. Pick up the rocket launcher in front of you and the armour if you need it and go through the sliding doors. 3. Destroy the hover jet As you go through the doors the hover jet from earlier appears. This is amazingly easy. Lock on to it and fire three shots at the hover jet and it will fly away. Make sure you take as much cover as possible while fighting the jet. The pillars work well but you can also accidently blow yourself up with the rocket launcher. Go into the previous room and pick up some more rockets and the armour if you need it. 4. Escape through wall You now need to escape but two tanks are situated in the courtyard. Go down the stairs and wall hug the small wall near the doorway. From here you can target the two tanks and minimise the damage you take. There are some more enemies running around here as well so take care of them too. When the tanks are destroyed and everyone's dead, run towards the hole but watch out for the sentinel that appears. If you are low on health don't bother trying to destroy it. (=============================================================================) ( MI6 Training ) (=============================================================================) Note: There is no gold target for this mission. Objectives: 1. Combat: Hand-to-hand 2. Gadget: Rappel 3. Combat: Crouching 4. Bond Sense: Targeting objects 5. Combat: Wall cover 6. Combat: Sniper rifle 7. Gadget: Q-Spider 8. Exit training |---------------------| | Mission Walkthrough | |---------------------| Now this really is just a training level. There is really nothing for me to say here. Just follow the on-screen instructions. This isn't even a proper level, it just explains the game basics. (=============================================================================) ( A Long Way Down ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 90000 Objectives: 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA 2. Drop explosive into vent 3. Rappel off building ledge 4. Shut off flame vents Weapons =-------= P99 Silenced P99 Desert Eagle MP5K SIG 552 Dragunov AT-420 Gadgets =-------= Rappel Thermovision Grenades |---------------------| | Mission Walkthrough | |---------------------| 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA When the mission starts Bond plants an explosive on the roof of a building, and then rappels off. You start on the side of the building. Rappel down but jump now and then to avoid the explosions that erupt from below you. When you reach the bottom a short cutscene shows the vent that you need to plant the explosive in. 2. Drop explosive into vent Run left and wall hug the steam machine. Peek out and kill any enemies you see. There is one behind the steam machine on the left. Kill him first or he will run up to you and start shooting if you leave it too long. Kill the enemies that are crouching behind the crates in front of you. When everyone's dead, run to the far right and pick up the armour behind the oil drum if you need it. Otherwise, approach the vent and press the X Button to drop the explosive in. A short cutscene shows a part of a ledge being knocked away because of the explosion. 3. Rappel off building ledge This objective is really short. Simply rappel off the building ledge you saw in the cutscene. You don't need to equip the rappel yourself as it automatically activates when you run off high ledges. Rappel down and then rappel again off the small platform you come to. Watch out for enemies rappelling from above. They are quite dangerous. While you are rappelling a small explosion occurs destroying another small platform, but you can still land on it. 4. Shut off flame vents As you land on the platform, immediately turn around and shoot the enemy behind you. Kill another enemy shooting you from the side and enter the burnt out building. Press the lock-on button to target any enemies that might be in the building. Run to the right and take cover behind a crate. Shoot the glass and two enemies will rappel down in front of you. Shoot them and rappel off the ledge in front of you. Pick up the armour at the bottom if you need it and kill an enemy that appears behind you. Rappel off the building again and you will come to another small platform. Wall hug the steam machine in front of you as three more guards will run out and take cover behind some crates. Peek out and shoot them and when they are all dead, run to where they were and press the switch on the right to turn off the flame vents. Now wall hug the steam machine again from where you are as an enemy comes out of the building with a rocket launcher. Kill him quickly and run into the building. Wall hug the wall on the left and kill any enemies around. There are quite a few here so be careful. There is some body armour at the back if you need it after a while. When everyone's dead, run through the doorway on the left in the centre of the room and rappel to the bottom. (=============================================================================) ( Train Chase ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 150000 Objectives: 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA 2. Catch up to the train 3. Get underneath the train Weapons =-------= Missile Machine Gun Gadgets =-------= None |---------------------| | Mission Walkthrough | |---------------------| This mission can be completed two different ways so I've split the walkthrough up for this level in two parts. For this mission try to save as many missiles as possible for the end. Using the Porsche Cayenne Turbo: 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA When the mission starts, you will be on a small circular platform. Run forward and then left and Bond will press a button to uncover a car. Get in the car and speed forward. Drive through the fire and smash through the glass. Follow the path and use your missiles on the gate to blow them up. Keep driving and you will come to a tunnel. Drive through the tunnel and destroy any cars you encounter with your missiles. 2. Catch up to the train When you come to a dead end, drive right and you will come to a collapsing temple. Drive up the ramp and over the fallen pillars. Try to balance yourself out immediately after landing so that you don't fall too far behind. If that happens, you will lose the train and fail the mission. You should now be back on a dirt path. There will be lots of enemies shooting at you so do your best to get rid of them. The missiles deal the most damage but the machine gun is more accurate depending on how good you are at shooting. Follow the curving road and you should soon see the train on the tracks above you on the right. 3. Get underneath the train Follow the train and you will soon see a dirt ramp on the right. Use the dirt ramp to get behind the train. When you land on the tracks, two more enemies on motorcycles appear. Use the missiles because you're close to them. You should also notice the train in front of you has a missile launcher attached on the back and continually fires at you. Get as close as possible and unload on it with a barrage of missiles. This is why you should have saved your missiles. When the missile launcher is destroyed, stay behind the train. Try not to drive on to the tracks as it slows you down. The track will soon take a small dip allowing you to drive underneath it. Using the Triumph Daytona: 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA When the mission starts, you will be on a small circular platform. Run forward and then right to find the motorcycle. Get on it and drive along the walkway. If you go fast enough, you can land on the roof of the building ahead and drop down through the skylight for a shortcut. Once you are on the dirt path the train will blow a hole in the ground and you will need to take a different route. 2. Catch up to the train Keep following the dirt path and a helicopter will appear from behind you. Let it get in front of you and then fire two missiles at it to destroy it. Drive off the ramp and you'll land near a helipad with lots of cars waiting for you. You should ignore all these to save your missiles and take the path on the left. Now you should be on the same path you took with the car. Follow the path and jump over the fallen pillars. Even yourself out as quickly as possible to avoid slowing down. Follow the curving path and you'll see the train on the tracks above you on the right. 3. Get underneath the train Keep following the dirt path and you should soon see a dirt ramp on the right. Use the ramp to get up on to the tracks and behind the train. At this point, two enemies on bikes appear. Use the missiles to kill them and then drive up to the train. Use your missiles on the missile launcher the train has attached on the back of it and then try to stay close behind it as much as you can. When the tracks dip slightly you need to speed up to the train and powerslide underneath it. (=============================================================================) ( An Old Friend ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 125000 Objectives: 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA 2. Defeat Jaws Weapons =-------= P99 Silenced P99 Desert Eagle SIG 552 Gadgets =-------= Thermovision Grenade |---------------------| | Mission Walkthrough | |---------------------| 1. FIND DOCTOR NADANOVA This is a stealth mission and it can be pretty tricky at times, so try to follow my walkthrough as closely as possible. When you start, you will be behind a crate with three guards in front of you who are unaware of your presence...yet. If you stay there too long they will spot you and you will have to shoot your way through the level. Equip your silenced P99 and watch the patrolling guard on the right. When he turns his back to you kill the guard on the left with stealth. Do the same for the guard in the middle. Stand up and run to the centre of the room. Crouch behind the left of the machine in the middle and wait for the patrolling guard to investigate the bodies. When he does, quickly kill him with a head shot. Pick up the Desert Eagle ammo and go into the second carriage. There are only two guards in here. Unequip your silenced P99 and stealth kill the guard in the little cubicle. Crouch behind the cubicle and wait for the guard at the back to get close to you. When he does, equip your silenced P99 again and kill him with a head shot. These guards had an SIG 552, so pick up all the ammo and enter the third carriage. Quickly kill the patrolling guard on the left with stealth before he spots you and wall hug the crates in front of you. Wait for the guard to appear and turn his back, and kill him when his back is turned. Pick up all the ammo and walk into the fourth carriage. Stealth kill the guard patrolling on the left with his back to you, and then do the same with the guard on the computer up ahead. Now equip your SIG 552 and your thermovision and enter the fifth carriage. Forget all the stealth for this mission and kill the guard on the right. This room is dark so you need the thermovision to see the enemies. Wall hug the wall on the right and wait for the enemies to run out before shooting them. There are about three of them to kill. You should have plenty of ammo if you picked up all the guns. There is some armour on the right from the wall if you need it. Go into the final room and get ready for a boss fight. 2. Defeat Jaws |------------------| | Boss Fight: Jaws | |------------------| Jaws is actually very easy. All your guns have been taken off you for this battle so you have to use your fists. When the fight starts Jaws will walk either left or right and pick up an electrical pillar to throw at you. Hide behind either pillar behind you to avoid it and stay there until both pillars are gone. Now, you should see the electricity flowing where the pillars used to be. Run up to Jaws and punch him and he should stagger into the electricity. It only takes two or three punches. Be careful not to get too close to the electricity yourself or you will be hurt as well. (=============================================================================) ( Sand Storm ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 160000 Objectives: 1. Catch up to General's helicopter 2. Eliminate the General 3. Destroy General's secret base Weapons =-------= Missiles Bombs Gadgets =-------= Flares |---------------------| | Mission Walkthrough | |---------------------| 1. Catch up to General's helicopter You will be flying a helicopter for this mission. Make sure you don't lose the helicopter in front of you, or you will fail the mission. This mission really only has one path. Fly around the rocks and bomb the boat below you. Watch out for falling pillars. Keep flying and you will come to a bridge with two cars on it. Use missiles on the bridge to bring it down. Keep flying and watch out another boat below you. Bomb it. Keep flying and eventually a short cutscene will play showing the General escaping into some ruins. 2. Eliminate the General Follow the General through the ruins and try not to get hit by the fire coming out of the walls. Use flares to avoid the General's missiles and he will eventually blow a hole in a wall ahead and fly out to the desert. Follow him and a boss battle will start. 3. Destroy General's secret base |-------------------------| | Boss Fight: The General | |-------------------------| This boss fight is quite easy but you may have trouble about halfway through. When the battle starts the General will be on a circular platform with three force fields protecting him. Use your missiles to blow up the force fields and then drop bombs on him until he is dead. Watch out for his missiles as they deal more damage at close range. Intercept patrol jeep before it reaches the village 2. Locate and enter 003's hideout 3. Get to Hotel Americano 4. Lose the patrols 5. Avoid enemy patrols 6. Intercept patrol jeep before it reaches the village When the mission starts, you will be near the village. A jeep will be in front of you. You need to stop the jeep before he reaches the village. Two missiles is enough to blow up the jeep. Watch out for the jeep's own missiles. You don't have flares this time, so you just need to try and avoid them. 2. Locate and enter 003's hideout Follow the curving road until you reach 003's hideout. 003's hideout is represented by the blue dot on GPS map. When you reach it a ramp will activate allowing you to drive up to it. Park in the blue marker and press the triangle button to get out of the car. Enter 003's hideout. 3. Get to Hotel Americano Drive out of the hideout and go right. Don't go left as you'll run into two tanks blocking your way and they are quite deadly. Go right but be careful you don't go back the way you came. If Q starts talking about your GPS map then you are going the right way. Follow the road around and you will soon come to the village. M will tell you to avoid enemy patrols. Do so by activating your Q- Cloak when an enemy patrol is nearby. Note that the Q-Cloak will only make you invisible for a short while so drive through the village quickly. When the road curves upwards a short cutscene will start. M will tell you to find a way past the roadblock. Unequip your Q-Cloak to let it charge up again. When it's nearly full, activate it again and drive between the two barriers between the two cars. 4. Lose the patrols Take your Q-Cloak off as you drive up the road. Turn the corner and quickly activate your Q-Cloak again. This will confuse the patrols and you will lose them. If this doesn't work, wait until you turn another corner out of their sight and activate the Cloak again. Try to lose the first pair of enemy patrols before you reach the second pair. Four patrol cars are hard to lose. Keep driving and you will come to another roadblock. Smash through the roadblock, cut across the grass and drive up the hill ahead. Activate the Q-Cloak again and quickly turn the corner. This should lose the patrols. As you turn the corner Bond will drive into the blue marker. 5. Avoid enemy patrols Serena will get in the car and you start where you finished before. Serena will give you directions on the way so you can't really get lost. Activate the Q- Cloak whenever you see an enemy and you should be alright. After the first direction Serena gives you, cut across the grass and go left. Speed past the car and drive down the road. Watch out for another enemy that speeds towards you. When you reach the bottom of the road, go left and then right under the arch. Fire a few missiles at the enemy patrol. Follow the directions and destroy the cars. Drive around the roadblock and down the bottom of the road. A short cutscene shows a tank coming towards you and it shoots a pillar and creates an escape route for you. Drive left and off the cliff. 6. Reach the base of mountain fortress Now, this next part is tricky. You need to drive fast enough to make it across the gap on the cliffs. When you make it, drive up the cliff and back onto the road. From there, just follow the road to the hideout and smash through the yellow barriers on the left. GET TO TOP OF CLIFF 2. Retrieve Agent 003's uplink device 3. Install the uplink device on a junction box 4. GET TO TOP OF CLIFF When the mission starts, equip your silenced P99, crouch and go through the dark tunnel on your right. While still in the shadows, kill the guard in front of you with a head shot. Pick up his AK and turn the corner. Take cover behind a cart and pick off the three enemies ahead with your newly acquired AK. Pick up all the AK ammo and run to the back. Rappel up the wall on the left. Kill the two enemies that appear and wall hug the thin wall on the left. One enemy will take cover behind a cart while another will rappel down and run towards you. Kill him first and then the second guard. The lift is here, so remember it for later. Rappel up the wall and kill the guard that rappels down in front of you. Pick up the body armour if you need it and rappel up the wall where the last enemy came from. On this floor at the back, is a guard with a rocket launcher. Use your AK to kill him, while taking cover behind the carts. You can actually push the cart on the right if you need to get closer to the rocket launcher guard. You need to do this anyway so do so and go left. Kill the guard that rolls in front of you and rappel down the wall straight ahead. Equip your thermovision and run through the tunnel. Kill the two enemies on the way and pick up the AT-420 rocket launcher and body armour at the end if you need it. Turn around and go back. Watch out for three guards that ambush you. Rappel back up the wall and go right. Kill the guard that rappels down and then rappel up that wall. Wall hug the wall ahead and fire a warning shot. This will alert three guards up ahead. Make sure you have a loaded clip before firing the warning shot. The room on the right where the enemies came from is where you install the uplink device so remember it. 2. Retrieve 003's uplink device Follow the tracks and equip your MP5K when you come to wall. Rappel up the wall and shoot the two enemies ahead. They are stronger than normal enemies so shoot them for longer. A normal guard runs out so shoot him too. Equip your rocket launcher and rappel up the wall ahead. Shoot the middle guard in this room and hopefully the blast will kill the other two guards. If not, switch to a normal weapon and shoot them. Pick up the armour on the left if you need it, and 003's uplink device on a crate on the right. 3. Install the uplink device on a junction box Rappel back down the wall and kill the enemy ahead. Kill the two enemies that rappel down outside and pick up any dropped ammo. You basically have to rappel back down to where the junction box was. Remember it? Head there and press the X button on the junction box to install the uplink. A guard should appear behind you so kill him. Walk outside the room but stay on this floor. 4. Destroy the signal jamming radar This is an easy and fun objective. Equip your AT-420 and wall hug any wall available as long as you can peek out and face the radar. Go into Bond Sense and aim at the barrels next to the radar below shoot it with the rocket launcher or a rapid-fire weapon to bring it down. Rappel down to the next floor but be careful. There are about six or seven enemies waiting for you. Crouch behind a crate and pick them off one by one. Run down the tracks and pick up the body armour at the end, and then rappel down to the next level. Go to the left and rappel down again. There are about six enemies here, stopping you from reaching the lift. If you want, you can take cover and shoot them or you can make a beeline for the lift. It's your choice. (=============================================================================) ( The Ruined Tower ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 175000 Objectives: 1. FIND 003 When the mission starts you will be crouched behind an elevator. Equip your silenced P99 and kill the guard walking toward you. Try to aim for his head. Kill the second guard that comes in. He will likely alert everyone outside if he sees you, so try not to let that happen. There is a SIG 552 in a cage on the left of this room. The first guard you killed had an AK-74. Pick everything up and go outside. There is a lot of cover out here if the guards were alerted. Watch out for their grenades. There is some armour back inside the room you started in if you need it. Kill anyone in this area, while picking up their ammo and rappel up the wall to the right. Kill the guard up here and pick up the Desert Eagle ammo. There is also a Dragunov and some more armour in here if you need it. Go back outside and equip the Dragunov. Crouch and aim for the guard at the back of the ruin. He has a rocket launcher, so if you can't see him, wait for him to fire. Equip either the AK or the SIG and rappel back down. More enemies have gathered around the stone ramp area so be careful around there. Hug the first wall you come to, and wait for them to run out in front is the best advice I can give you. There are quite a few enemies there. If the enemies stop coming, hug the second closest wall as chances are, they're hiding. When you're certain everyone's dead, run the rest of the way up the ramp and rappel up the wooden wall on the right. 2. Infiltrate ruin There is armour up here if you want it. Go left and down the steps and run around the side of the ruin. As you do, lots of enemies will ambush you. Hide under the small gap in the wall and shoot the enemies from there. Look for a small entrance into the side of a wall. Go inside and pick up the P99 ammo. Be careful on your way out, as two enemies will appear. There is some armour over by the wall at the back when you exit the small tunnel. Go down the steps and press X to drop the crate. Jump down into the ruins. Press the X Button again to push the cart in front of you. It will move forward and smash the boarded up exit ahead. Go outside and kill the enemies that appear. Follow the tracks and you will find the crashed cart. It has dropped some dynamite. Shoot the dynamite to blow up the door in front of you. Enter the ruin. (=============================================================================) ( Death of An Agent ) (=============================================================================) Gold Target: 200000 Objectives: 1. Reach 003 before he dies 2. Find another way off the cliff 3. Reach 003 before he dies When you start, follow the hallway and shoot the three enemies up ahead. Pick up the Desert Eagle and SPAS 12 and shoot another enemy on your way down the stairs. Talk to 003. 2. Find another way off the cliff Quickly shoot the enemy outside in the hallway and pick up the ammo. Kill two more enemies further down and hug the wall just next to the doorframe of the first door you come to. Peek out and kill the enemy before he runs off. Pick up the ammo. Follow the hallway to a large area. Grab the armour and the SIG 552 ammo off the table and hug the stone wall with the hole in the middle. Pick off as many enemies as you can here. Walk along the upper wooden platform and kill any enemies that pop up. Run around and grab all the ammo. Follow the room to the back and you should see a small wooden platform leading back the way you came. Follow it and press the switch at the end. A door will open at the back and about seven or eight enemies will pour out. Crouch behind the carts and shoot them one by one with either the MP5K, the AK-47, or the SIG 552. There is armour in a small gap in the wall about halfway along if you need it. When everyone's dead, go through the door you opened earlier. 3. Catch Serena As you exit the cliffs, run forward and outside and a cutscene takes over. Katya appears in a helicopter with Serena and throws her out. You need to catch her. Run off the ledge and the rappel activates automatically. This part is not really hard it's just a case of avoiding the jagged rocks and the enemies rockets. Go into Bond Sense every so often and try to aim for dynamite to shoot and blow the enemies up. But be careful, as this slows you down, and you might miss your chance to catch Serena. Get Serena safely to 003's hideout This mission is fun. You start off in a tank with Serena driving. Switch to the machine gun and destroy the jeep blocking your path on the left. Do the same to another jeep that comes speeding towards you up ahead. Serena will drive up a hill, through the trees and on to a road where a helicopter will appear. Switch to the tank cannon and continually fire at it. The helicopter is moving so it
