Characters (CHAR): --------------------- (Thanks to Wikipedia for the info. I couldn't be bothered to write loads of bio's for the characters) Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider: Johnny Blaze, a stunt daredevil, was the son of Barton Blaze and Naomi Kale. He spent his early years in the Quentin Carnival where his parents starred in a stunt show with Craig "Crash" Simpson. Blaze's family had ended when his mother abandoned Barton and Johnny and took the family's two children. Losing his mother caused Blaze to repress many of his memories of her and his siblings. When his father died in a stunt, Blaze was adopted by Crash and Mona Simpson. The Simpsons helped Blaze by fabricating his past with the hope that it would be less painful than the truth. Now believing that his real mother was Clara Blaze, who had passed away, Blaze became an enthusiastic member of the Simpson clan, growing closer to their daughter, Roxanne. The two soon became inseparable and, as they grew older their fondness for one another moved beyond familial. Blaze would eventually join the Simpsons into their own traveling stunt show — the Crash Simpson Stunt Cycle Extravaganza. Crash had become a real father figure in Blaze's eyes, and on learning of Crash's life-threatening cancer, Blaze turned to the occult. His studies led him to a spell which supposedly could summon Satan himself. Johnny was unaware that he in fact had summoned Mephisto. Desperate, Blaze sold his soul to Mephisto in return for Crash's cancer to be cured. Crash Simpson's cancer was cured, though Crash died soon after in a stunt trying to jump over 22 cars. Blaze, still at the mercy of Mephisto, believed he would lose his soul to Mephisto until he was saved by Roxanne. Roxanne proclaimed her love for Blaze, and drove Mephisto away with the purity of her emotion. Blaze was unaware that Mephisto had bonded him with the demon Zarathos as an act of revenge for not being able to obtain Johnny's soul. Johnny was transformed into a Ghost Rider, a leather-clad skeleton, his head cloaked in a sheath of flame, the night after Crash's death. Blaze became a bounty hunter for Mephisto. Whenever he was in the presence of evil he would transform into the Ghost Rider, to exact the devil's revenge, returning the evil to Hell. Blaze was not completely lost in the transformation however, and would also help the innocent when they were in danger. Blade: Blade stood out amongst other comic heroes with his direct and at times, rude, way of speaking. His dialogue was also intended to reflect, to varying degrees of success, the street slang of the 1970s. While the Marvel Comics version of the character Blade was British and born in London, the film and television versions of Blade produced by New Line Cinema portray him as an American born in Chicago. Aside from the detail that in both tellings of the story his mother was bitten by vampires while giving birth to him, there is little resemblance between the movie and comic book versions of Blade. However, due to the success of the film, efforts were made by Marvel to make the comic version resemble the film character more closely. This was achieved by having Blade bitten on the arm by Morbius. The injury resulted in Blade becoming a half vampire, which gave him all of a vampire's strengths but none of their weaknesses. He had super strength, great agility, and immunity to sunlight. Prior to being bitten by Morbius the only unusual attributes Blade was said to have were an immunity to vampire bites and a retarded aging process. Both due to his unique physiology. As Morbius was not a true vampire, but some type of variant, Blade was not immune to his bite like other vampires and it altered his physiology to the extent that it was similar to that of Morbius. Mephisto: Mephisto has claimed to have been a creation of the extra-dimensional entity Infiniti, which later became the Infinity Gems and Nemesis, but given his nature as a habitual liar and manipulator (plus the fact that telling this particular lie served an important purpose for his plot at the time), it seems that this is untrue. More reliable sources identify Mephisto as a "Class II" demon, or "Hell-Lord", born of the primeval concentration of evil energy left in the wake of the Elder Gods when they were driven from the Earth by Atum billions of years ago. That energy gave rise to the Hell Lords, who were given shape and form by the unconscious desires of the earliest humans to worship them. Mephisto was one of the first, but many more followed, each ruling over their own extra-dimensional nether-realm. Like many Hell-Lords, Mephisto delights in exploiting humanity's belief in a singular figure of evil, the biblical Satan, and has often posed as this entity in order to strike deceptive bargains with unwitting human, providing them with their desires in exchange for their souls. Mephisto draws power from captive souls, and often targets those who are particularly powerful, or exceptionally pure. It was this that led him into conflict with the pure-hearted Silver Surfer, whom he tried to tempt, but failed miserably. Both the Surfer and the Thunder God Thor would become perennial foes for Mephisto, who detests the fact that they are shining examples of what mankind could one day become. Mephisto had a long-running rivalry with the demon Zarathos, who, with the aid of Centurious the Soulless Man, he succeeded in capturing several thousand years ago. Torturing Zarathos by bonding him with mortals throughout the years, Mephisto learned that in the past, Zarathos had clashed with the powerful Spirits of Vengeance, whose essence now resided in the Medallion of Power. In his search for the medallion, which had been divided between two families, Mephisto crossed paths with the Kale family in the 18th century. The Kale's village had come under attack from the demonic Furies, and Mephisto cut a deal with the patriach, Pastor Kale, to protect the village in exchange for the soul of his son, Noble. Mephisto activated the Kale family's fragment of the medallion, merging Noble with the power of the Spirits of Vengeance, and Noble became the first Ghost Rider. Mephisto's attempt to take Noble's soul was barred by the angelic being known as Uriel, and it was eventually settled that Noble's soul would remain unclaimed by either side, and would manifest in one member of each generation of his descendants. In the present day, Noble's descendant Naomi bargained with Mephisto to spare her eldest son, Johnny Blaze, from the curse. Mephisto complied, promosing that Johnny would not become the Ghost Rider... but that he could still become a Ghost Rider. To that end, Mephisto - in the guise of "Satan" - bonded Zarathos to Johnny's soul, creating a new Ghost Rider. As "Satan," Mephisto plagued Blaze for years but was unable to gain revenge. Blaze was eventually freed from Zarathos, but in recent years, the demon would reconstitue himself within Johnny's body, turning him into the Ghost Rider once more. Similarly, Johnny's younger brother, Dan Ketch, would later manifest Noble Kale's soul, and become the newest Ghost Rider, before Noble was separated from him and became the Ghost Rider, and a Hell Lord in his own right. Roxanne: Losing his mother caused Blaze to repress many of his memories of her and his siblings. Vengeance: When Zarathos' hellfire (the source of the mystical flames that encompass the bones of both Vengeance and Ghost Rider) caused serious psychological damage to a police officer named Badilino, he went on to kill his wife, daughter and himself, leaving only his young son, Michael Badilino, alive. With his sister's death, Michael inherited both quarters of the "Medallion of Power" that had been entrusted to his family millennia ago by the Blood. During his twenties, Badilino joined a special task force in the army but left to join the New York City police force, after the "death" of Anton Hellgate. Eventually, Badilino was promoted to lieutenant. When Daniel Ketch became the new Ghost Rider, Michael Badilino believed him to be the same demon that had destroyed his family. He led a task force to destroy Ghost Rider, but failed repeatedly to do so. In frustration, he turned to Mephisto, trading his soul in exchange for the power to destroy the Ghost Rider. Mephisto made the deal, but unknown to Badilino the power was the dormant portion of the shard of Medallion of Power that was bound to Badilino and only awakened by Mephisto's actions. In his superhuman form, Badilino was called Vengeance, and originally attempted to kill Ghost Rider, believing him to be Zarathos. Eventually, Vengeance was won over to the side of good when Ghost Rider was proven not to be the demon Zarathos, the one truly responsible for Badilino's hatred. Vengeance would also take on the role of the Ghost Rider and even semi-seriously referred to himself by the name when confronted by Spider-Man shortly after the apparent death of Ghost Rider in battle with Zarathos and his acolytes, The Fallen. Lilith: The demon Lilith is an ancient demon goddess. She gives birth to demons called Lilins which have lives of their own, but always remain obedient to their mother. She is an immortal having lived in the city of Atlantis, one of its few survivors. Trapped in the leviathan Tiamat by Atlantean sorcerers, she used her vast magics to influence outside affairs until she was finally freed by two unknowing scientist explorers. Discovering that many of her Lilin children were destroyed by Ghost Rider and Johnny Blaze, she soon made enemies of them. After many attempts to kill the two, her enemies list grew to include Doctor Strange, Morbius the Living Vampire, The Witches, The Nightstalkers and the Midnight Sons just to name a few. In her first attempt she and her children were killed. Many month's later her children were reborn this time allied with Centurious, the man without a soul. Their goal was to claim the mystical artifact called the Medallion of Power, and kill it's inheritors, John Blaze, Daniel Ketch, and Vengance(comics). Lilith and her offspring betrayed Centurious and allied with his most hated enemy, Zarathos. However the Midnight Sons banished Lilith and her offspring to the shadowside. Zarathos was later turned into stone and killed. Lilith returned to the stoned Zarathos saying she abandoned her old offspring and replaced it with his offspring, promising vengeance for the both of them. This has yet to be seen. Blackout: Marcus Daniels was a laboratory assistant to Dr. Abner Croit, a physicist hoping to build a device capable of tapping into energies from other dimensions. Croit always looked down on Daniels’ inferior knowledge, making him feel useless. Daniels always wondered what it would be like to harness the energy they were researching, to be powerful. After an accident bathed him in the extradimensional energy of the Darkforce, he had the chance to find out. Calling himself Blackout, his body was now flushed with power, becoming a surface of control of the Darkforce dimension. However, despite his powers threatening to go out of control, he escaped from Croit’s attempts to cure him and fled. Blackout returned to the laboratories, however, as he needed the stabilizer device to control his energies. But he also returned to find revenge on Croit-- Blackout’s sanity began to suffer as well. He believed Croit was researching energies from "Black Stars" and that his body now generated such energy. He further believed that Croit was defrauding the government with his research and had bribed a judge to frame him for stealing his secrets. Instead of an accident causing his powers, Daniels thought Dr. Croit willfully subjected him to it an experiment exchange for dropping charges against him. He has the ability to automatically generate a light-dampening field which negates all visible light in a significant area. His albino-esque complexion and extreme physical sensitivity to sunlight & light in general likely accounts for this power-manifestation, and its vampiric similarities apparently led him to have his teeth & fingernails replaced with mechanically-enhanced metal ones. Initially employed by the demonic crimelord Deathwatch, he fought the Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch),and was disfigured in the battle when he was scorched by hellfire by trying to bite through Ghost Rider's jacket. This caused him to become Dan Ketch/Ghost Rider's sworn arch-enemy, leading him into killing his sister Barbara along with several of his close associates. He later became allied with Lilith, the demon-goddess, who claimed she was his grandmother. After being defeated by the Midnight Sons, Blackout had his face deformities repaired and went back to work as a hired assassin, also eliminating a few personal grudges along the way until finally being captured by Ghost Rider and hoisted and chained over the World Trade Center where he is thought to have burned to death. Much later, was seen among the escaping villains in the prison breakout in "New Avengers" #1. Scarecrow: The Scarecrow was first introduced as Jonathan Crane, a professor of psychology at Gotham University, who turned to crime after he was fired; an expert in the psychology of fear, he had fired a gun in a classroom full of students to illustrate a point. The only thing revealed about his early life was that, as a child, he had liked to frighten birds. There is a Marvel Comics supervillain named Ebineezer Laughton who also goes by the moniker "Scarecrow." He is primarily a foe of Ghost Rider and Spider-Man. Like Crane, he resembles a lanky field scarecrow when in costume (the most distinct visual difference between the two is that Crane's costume usually includes a straw hat). Though Laughton shares the ability to induce fear in others (albeit supernaturally), he is primarily known as a contortionist (similar to another Batman villain, Ragdoll). Blackheart: Centuries of murder in a locale named Christ's Crown drew the attention of a demon-lord, Mephisto, who created a "son", Blackheart, from the energy of the accumulated evil. Blackheart explored the nature of evil under his father's tutelage, clashing with and failing to corrupt Daredevil and Spider-Man. Mephisto and Blackheart soon drew Daredevil, Brandy Ash, the genetically engineered Number Nine, and the Inhumans Gorgon, Karnak, and Ahura into Hell. Observing these mortals led Blackheart to rebel against his father and seek a newer form of evil; in retaliation, Mephisto diminished Blackheart's powers. Focusing on those who straddled good and evil, Blackheart tried and failed to recruit Wolverine (James Howlett), the Punisher (Frank Castle), and the Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch) to his rebellion. Blackheart also aided Wonder Man against Mephisto and helped a mercenary named Misha by serving as her telepathic "Voice". Returning to Christ's Crown in an attempt to corrupt a young girl named Lucy Crumm, a pure soul with powers including a calming influence and telepathy, Blackheart was once more defeated by Ghost Rider, Wolverine and the Punisher. When Mephisto appeared to express his disappointment in his wayward son, Blackheart apparently slew Mephisto with a dagger touched by Lucy's blood, banishing his "father" from Hell and restored his own powers to full strength. As Hell's ruler, Blackheart focused on corrupting and tormenting Ghost Rider, one of the Spirits of Vengeance. From his palace in the Burning Flesh district, Blackheart created his own Spirits of Vengeance: his consort Black Rose (the deceased Roxanne Simpson, ex-wife of Dan Ketch's brother, Johnny Blaze), Verminus Rex (a spirit who had battled Ghost Rider during World War I), Wallow (a homicidal mortal suicide whom Ghost Rider had thwarted), Doghead (a downtrodden immigrant), and Pao Fu (who had died in the arms of Ghost Rider as he tried to save her). Blackheart bargained to free Ghost Rider's relatives from their curse; in return, Ghost Rider agreed to lead Blackheart's Spirits. However, the pair fell out and Ghost Rider banished Blackheart from Hell. While ruler of Hell, Blackheart had tormented the soul of the mutant Stryfe by manipulating the X-Force group, which attracted the attention of the mutant sorceress Selene. After banishment from Hell, Blackheart allied with Selene as the temporary Black King of the evil, chess-nomenclatured Hellfire Club. After defeating Selene's enemy, Alyssa Moy, Blackheart battled the Fantastic Four, Mechamage, Hellstorm, and Margali Szardos; they ultimately defeated Blackheart, binding him beneath New York's Hellfire Club. Trapped there, he continued to aid Selene, opposing X-Force in an attempt to corrupt Sunspot. Blackheart is a powerful demon of the highest order and possesses vast supernatural powers. He is essentially invincible to anything but the most powerful magic. He has superhuman strength and endurance which, being magical in nature, are potentially incalculably high. His speed is also incalculably high and his intelligence surpasses some of the smartest beings alive nearing him to omniscience. His telekinetic and telepathic powers give him abilities beyond most demons of his level. On one occasion he manipulated an army of over 10 million people into doing his bidding. Also, he once ripped an entire planet apart by an act of sheer will and did not show any sign of strain. He also has the ability of flight and the ability to combine his superspeed with his flight. His powers also include teleportation and he can make himself intangible at will. Blackheart also has access to the darkforce dimension and can transport beings and himself into it. When Blackheart transports himself into the dimension, he is mentally linked with it and can manipulate anything in the dimension, even living beings. 5. Walkthrough (WLKT): ---------------------- Here we go with the game. Select New Game and get ready to play! Chapter 1. Ghost Rider In Hell LVL 1: Arrival In Hell JOHNNY BLAZE has been transformed into the GHOST RIDER and sent down into the bowels of Hell. Here he must fend off the demons and escape the the world above. When you gain control, walk towards the set of stairs on the other side of the room to meet your first enemies. If you have Tutorial on, then you'll receive the controls. Scroll down and press X to skip to the fight. Hit the demons to have another window pop up, about the HELLFIRE SHOTGUN and the SPIRIT GAUGE. Once done, press X to continue the fight. You'll keep getting tutorial pages up. Read them or skip them. As you fight, notice the words in the top right corner under your soul meter. You should get a tutorial menu up about this. Soon in the game, you'll come across some shielded monster, and they are connected to the bar, but we'll talk about them when we come to them. Finish off the Razor Backs and head up the stairs. In this new area, more Razor Backs will climb down the walls. Keep defeating them until they stop coming. Now head up the stairs and you'll be in a new area. From here you cannot go back. Go down the stairs and you'll notice a fire. You should get a tutorial menu up explaining these. Walk near these fire to absorb it and RESTORE ENERGY. If you are low on Health, stand near it. Now walk to the door and it will get covered in a SOUL BARRIER. To remove these SOUL BARRIERS, you must destroy all the nearby enemies, so do that. Kill all the razor backs and fire spitters. Now press O to enter the door. Walk forward and you'll meet our little shielded friends that I told you about. If you see an enemy with a HELLFIRE SHIELD like this on them, that means they cannot be harmed until the shield is broken. To break the shield you must raise the VENGEANCE BAR to match the level of the shield. Then it should break. But if you get hit while trying to raise your VENGEANCE BAR, then the bar will reset. defeat the HELLFIRE SHIELDED enemy and then more enemies will appear. defeat the Razor Backs and Fire Spitters. Around about here, you should get a Upgrade notice. This notice means that you have enough souls to upgrade. But after this notice, it will be you who decides if you have enough souls to upgrade. Continue through the cleared passage and you will meet a new enemy: Hellfire Bats. These are pesky little creatures. Defeat them and more will appear. Beat them up then move forward. Defeat all the demons here and head through the doorway. Now head all the way down and you'll meet a very scary demon. This is the first sub-boss you will come across. He's quite tough at first. The thing to do is to stay away from him and when you get an opening, quickly combo him then move back again. Once he's low on HP a O should appear above him. Press O to finish him off. If not, or you miss it, then just beat him up. He should go down in no time. Once he pops, go through the door he broke out of and you will have completed the level. LVL 2: Hell's Highway This is the first Hell-Cycle level. Refer to the Bike controls if you do not know what to do, but you should get tutorial help. Make your way to the end of the area then finish the next area up. Watch out for the Razor Backs on 'Cycles. LVL 3: Meet The Devil That was fun wasn't it? From here move forward and defeat the demons. Once defeatd, move left and you should see a pillar with a O next to it. Move near it and press O to put it off the ledge, triggering the bridge's controls. Walk across the bridge and defeat the demons, including another big red demon. Use the same strategy as before; hit and run. Once they are all dead (again!) go up the stairs on the right to move to a new area. Use the fire if you have to replenish HP. Now move forward and press O to open the big gates. Now you should be in a large circular duel-like arena. Move to the center to trigger more demons. Defeat them and you'll soon come across more HELLFIRE SHIELDED enemies with 'BRUTAL' on them. Get BRUTAL or higher and defeat them, along with the bats. Now you've got another big red guy to deal with. Same as before. Once you defeatd all the demons here, you'll have beat the level. LVL 4: Hell Scraper Duel (BOSS) BOSS: VENGEANCE You'll battle VENGEANCE on your HELLCYCLE. You'll be on the side of a Hell skyscraper. You need to chase after him, avoiding debris and walls. Keep shooting him with the O button. You will slowly damage him. He will also throw fire projectiles at you. Jump over the gap and he should stop firing. Catch up to him and whack him with your chain. At the next jump he'll speed forward. Keep firing at him and watch out for flying debris. After he's at about half HP, he'll start firing this fire laser that goes back and forth. Jump over this as it goes back and forth and keep firing at him. He should stop after a while. Just keep shooting him and you'll complete the chapter. Chapter 2. Sleeping Gods LVL 5: A New Face In Town You'll finally be in the real world. And a new chapter always means new enemies. If you turn right here you'll see some red glowing rocks. These are Earth Magic barriers. You cannot pass these yet so move forward and you'll meet some old friends. defeat them all and move through the now-unblocked cave. Move towards the gate and it will get cursed. Defeat the Razor-Backs and fire spitters and you'll meet the red guy again. After you beat him the door will unlock. Go through it with O. Move towards the middle and you'll meet the new enemies I told you about. defeat the Razor-Claws and more will come with some reinforcements. Once you've defeatd them all, head into the Saloon. Head forward and defeat the enemies. Now head to the stairs. Move down the hall and go through the large hole. Defeat the HELLFIRE SHIELDED enemies and other enemies and then go to the unblocked hole. Jump off the ledge and you'll be in a large alleyway. Here you'll see more red glowing rocks. You still cannot pass these. Move up and the Ammunition hole will get blocked. More demons will appear, along with another big red demon. You can destroy some crates to get a few souls. After defeating the demons, another red demon will appear with more razor claws. Once the Ammunition is unblocked, press O on them to see a humerous clip. Now head through the new gate to complete the level. LVL 6: The Valley Of Death Get to the end of the level. Watch out for enemy bikers and the jumps and slides. The enemy bikers will not be Razor Backs anymore, but they will now be Razor Claws. The same goes with the on ground enemies. When you come near the on ground enemies, they will spin and try to hit you. Just shoot them at a distance like normal. I found this motorcycle level to be a little challenging because of some tight corner turns and jumps. On the second arena, the jumps get tricky. Watch your head on some jumps. If you jump to late then on the way down you may hit your head and be respawnd somewhere before that jump. But don't worry, the respawn location is fixed and it usualy puts you just before the last jump/duck. On the third and final area, watch out for the pieces of cavern that are in the center of the road. Hit them and they could stray you from the path and smash you into the wall head first. After a few turns and 2 jumps, you will get ambushed by more Razor Claw bikists. For a while there will be easy turns and large areas for you to drive. Soon you'll come across a jump, losing the bikists, but mind your head. L2 the high wall and continue to the end. LVL 7: The Mine's Dark Heart Now you're back on your feet, move towards the lift/elevator and you'll get ambushed by razorbacks and fire spitters. Once you beat them, get in the lift/elevator and press O to move up. On the way up you'll get attacked. Keep defeating the demons. You'll get attacked in this order: 1. Razor Backs 2. Fire Spitters 3. Bats 4. Razor Claws 5. Bats 6. Bats and Razor Claws After that you will be in a crystal-like cavern. Move up the path and you'll be on a circular pillar with crystals on it. Move to the center to meet the Earth Elemental; the second Sub Boss. He's pretty easy. He attacks slowly. When he goes to punch you, block it with R1. When he does a triple punch, block all 3 and then unleash hell upon him. If he roars and holds his arms in the air, jump when he brings them down or you'll get hit. You can't block this attack. When he gets low on HP, he should be dazed and then you can press O on him. Do that to combo him to death. Once he dies, a big red soul should appear in the center of the arena. Move towards it to put up the Earth Soul, which let's you destroy Earth Magic. Head back to the lift and fight your way to the bottom. Walk forward and watch out behind you! defeat all demons, including the Earth Elemental. Beat it the same as before. Now head to the door you came through and press O and you'll have finished the level. LVL 8: Back To The Surface This level is The Valley Of Death (LVL 6) but backwards. Because you are now on your way back to where you saw the Earth Magic (red glowing rocks). You will have implanted the Earth Soul into your HELLCYCLE. This powers up your 'Cycle and adds a lovely double jump! Use it well. Since this is on the way back, the jumps may be a bit more difficult. Just use the double jump to clear hard to jump paths. Watch out for the Triple Jump. This time instead of doing a single jump to pass each of the jumps, you must do a DOUBLE JUMP on each jump. So be careful you do not bang your head :-) Once you clear a few jumps, you'll meet up with the Razor Claw bikists again. Just continue to shoot them and dodge the obsticles. If they come near you, press Square or Triangle to hit them. But beware as they can also hit you up close. Watch out for the Fire Spitters on the ground. On the second area, there are quite a few more tricky jumps. Use your double jump wisely. Know when to use it and when not to use it. On the third area, the start is quite tricky. Duck under the high wall and then try your best to drive up the ramp on the right side of the road. If you don't you'll fall. Roll up the ramp then double jump to the other side. This jump is very tricky. Also watch out for the ground enemies. Once you've made it past more bikists and ducks, and jumps, you'll have completed the level. LVL 9: Desert Rain Go back to where you saw the Earth Magic Rocks, past the ammunition and up a bit. An Earth Elemental will be guarding the rocks. Try using Penance Stare on him. It will insta-kill him. Defeat him and his minions and then walk towards the rock and press O to get rid of them. Walk to the door and press O to go through. Go down the hall and get some health from the Torch if needed. Jump down from the balcony and you'll find yourself in another alley. Defeat the demons and go down. You'll be back outside the Saloon. Go through the big gate again make your way back to the other Earth Magic rocks. As you make your way back to the Earth Magic Rocks, you'll get isolated and ambushed by another Earth Elemental. Penance Stare him or just kill him the old fasion way. You'll meet just about every enemy you've met so far except the big red demon. You'll soon get attacked by another Earth Elemental. Beat him back into the rocks and go through the cave. Go back to the first set of Earth Rocks near the starting point and get through them with O. You'll be in a new area now. Move forward and the door will get blocked. Here you'll meet 2 Earth Elementals plus a HELLFIRE SHIELDED enemy. I suggest trying to get rid of the elementals first because when you're trying to get BRUTAL to get through the shield, they'll keep hitting your BRUTAL out of you, but it's your call. Once you beat them you'll meet yet another Earth Elemental and another BRUTAL HELLFIRE SHIELDED Razor Claw. Beat them and the door will be opened. Go through to complete the level. LVL 10: Lightning Strikes (BOSS) BOSS: Lilith You'll be on top of a train and Lilith will say she has Blackhearts body. She says she will revive him and become king and queen of demons. When you regain control, Lilith will be in a lightning bubble in the sky. She will summon Razor Claws. Keep fighting them while dodging Lilith's lightning attacks, which is unblockable. Sooner or later her bubble will vanish and she'll come down onto the train. Now is the time to hit her. Attack her with powerful moves and she should flee back into the sky. She will continue to summon Razor Claws as you defeat them. She will also throw Lightning orbs at you, which ARE blockable. When Lilith moves to the next carriage and shouts 'Lightning Storm! Kill him!' quickly run to the carriage or you'll be blown up. Seriously, this is an instant kill so hurry to the next carriage. When you make it, just keep repeating what you did on the first carriage. Soon she'll shout 'I'm getting tired of this. It ends here!' so chase her to the last carriage. If she shouts 'You, Will, Die!' she will use lightning floor barriers which aim for your legs, you must jump over them, so beware. Finish her off. You'll meet Blade in the end of battle video. He's going to fetch Blackheart's body and put him to sleep forever. While you go to face Blackout. Level Complete. Time for Chapter 3! Chapter 3. War Games LVL 11: Perimeter Breach New chapter, new enemies. They come later. When you get control, move towards the metal door and it'll, as usual, get blocked off by demons. So defeat them and then press O to enter the door. Head to the end of this boring non-demon filled corridor. The door you want to go through will get blocked off and you must fight your way through. Same old, same old. Watch out for the 2 Earth Elementals. You'll now meet the new enemy of this chapter! The dark Ninja! These ninja are quite fast and tricky. Theres 2 types of ninja: Blue is a ninja wielding a Katana, and a red ninja throws shurikens (projectiles). Fight the ninja (like you have a choice) and soon another Earth Elemental will appear with more ninja. Defeat them and the door will be unlocked. See the blue watery-barrier on the door to the left of the L.2. door? That's another Magic barrier. You'll be able to open that later. Head through the door labeled L.2. This room is being gassed but it doesn't effect you. Refill HP here if you wish, and move on. Turn right here and watch the sharks if you wish. Trust me you'll have seen enough of them by the end of this chapter. Go down the stairs and get attacked. Beat up the ninja. Watch out for there ramming attacks. You'll meet another big red dude plus 2 BRUTAL HELLFIRE SHIELD fire spitters. Beat them up and head through the door. Here are the red ninja. These throw blue-flaming shurikens. Chop the 3 barrels to the right of the door to get some red souls. Now head through the door. Refill HP if needed and go down on the lift. You'll get attacked by some razor backs and ninja. Once beat, head off the lift and through the door to finish the level. LVL 12: Flooded Depths Another Biking mission. Watch out for Ninja on bikes. Duck the 2 high walls and over the jump. The ground enemies will be Razor Backs, and Ninja. Go over the jump duck jump duck and you'll meet ninja on bikes. Once you get to this big ramp, be careful. As you jump over the fan, you'll see another set of arrows that appear before the end of the jump. Press your double jump when you get close to these arrows so you barely make it over. Second Area, make sure you do NOT GO IN THE WATER! If you do you will get killed and have to respawn. try to stay ON THE ROAD and don't go in the water. Look out for jumps and skids straight after eachother, and also remember to beware of the ground enemies. More bikists. Here there is no water so your safe for now. Up the road there will be 1 side water and 1 side not so be careful. After that there will be triple jumps. After that more Water plus high jumps. Jump then skid. Keep jumping and skidding while still avoiding water and you should no time be at the end. LVL 13: The Lower Levels You'll be in the Lower Levels now. Move forward and get ambushed again. Don't forget to spend souls on upgrades in the pause menu. Once you've beaten them all, plus the Earth Elemental, go through the door with O. Refill HP if needed, and walk across the bridge to meet another Earth Elemental plus some ninja. Do the same as always then go through the door with O. You'll hear lightning but it's nothing to fear. You'll SEE lightning, but hey, it's nothing to fear! move along past the sparks and through the door. Move forward and you'll meet a new play mate. Or, sub boss. This is a water sub boss. This guy is tricky. He shoots powerful non-blockable water blasts from his mouth, also he teleports. So you have to make sure you dodge the blasts with the Roll (right analog stick) then attack him while he is finishing off his blast. Also when he teleports, roll away in case he decides to hit you. Get used to fighting him because you'll meet loads more of him later, like the Big Red Demon and Earth Elementals. Once defeatd, pick up the Water Soul. This lets you ride your bike on Water! Yippiee! No more need to fear the water while on your bike. Plus this lets you destroy Water Magic Barriers. Go through the door opposite to where the creature broke out. Move forward and you'll... guess what? Get attacked! You need to reach the controls. Destroy the Razor Claws and Razor Backs. An Earth Elemental will appear, destroy it and then press O on the controls to see another humerous clip. Cross the new bridge into the new opening. Drop down and the exit will get blocked. Defeat the Water Elemental beast along with more ninja, to get another Water Elemental! Beat it with Penance Stare (it's quicket method plus you get loads of souls!) Now go through the exit and Level Complete! LVL 14: Swimming With Sharks This is what I meant before, about you getting tired of seeing the sharks. You will gain the ability to ride on Water thanks to the orb. Now you can ride on water if you want. Go through the tunnel and you'll meet the little shark friends. Just don't touch them as they will blow up. They are exploding sharks. So be careful where you drive. Keep shooting them to blow them up early. Jump the big gap and try to land in the hole that is marked. If you blow up, then you'll respawn in the hole. After the 2 skids you'll make it to the end. LVL 15: Back On Top Head onto the lift and press O on the controls. Defeat the demons on the lift. 2 Water elementals will appear at the same time. Beat them both up but becareful. Head to the door and refill HP if needed. Destroy the magically restored barrels on the right to get some souls. Head down to face more ninja plus a water elemental. Now head down and up through the door to be back in the room with the sharks in the windows. You'll meet a few more Water Elementals in thes room. Now go up the stairs and through the door. Back in the gassy room. Refill HP if needed and go through the door. Move towards the Water Magic Barrier and you'll get attacked. Soon 2 BRUTAL HELLFIRE SHIELD enemies will appear accompanied by a Water Elemental. After all of them are defeatd, move towards the Water Magic Barrier and press O to destroy the magic. Now level is complete. LVL 16: In Blackout's Wake (BOSS) BOSS: Blackout Blackout is a vampire. But don't worry he won't bite :) He threatens Ghost Rider saying he has Roxanne in the church. In this battle you CANNOT let Blackout get to far ahead. Chase him. If you shoot him he will not get damaged. Follow him dodging or jumping over his splashes. He'll go through the middle gate so quickly go through the left game which opens when he goes through, then go through the right gate when he goes through the left. Duck under the bar that just appeared. Jump or duck his lightning. He will go through the right door, so follow him through that. When he takes out a red bomb quickly shoot him and he will get damaged. Now just repeat until he's defeatd. The gate's should change from here, and he will throw miniture fire blasts at you through the air so dodge these. When he pulls out a bomb then blast him. Level and Chapter complete. Chapter 4 time! Theres quite a few of them here plus an Earth Elemental. But just do the same as always. And there IS a HP refill here anyways so you'll be ok. Now go through where the red barrier was and complete the level. LVL 18: City Limits Now you'll be on your bike in the city. As soon as you get on the road, you'll get ambushed by Demon Bikists. Beat them all up them move down to meet a VENGENACE HELLFIRE SHIELD! On this one you have to get your meter up to VENGEANCE to be able to break the shield. This is alot tougher. Practice and you can do it. Also beware of the big red guy. After beating them the door will unblock. Go through. You'll see a gas station. Defeat the demons including the rocket launchers and a Water Elemental will appear. Defeat it then press O to blow up the gas truck blocking your way. Go through the new path. Go up and meet another VERY annoying enemy. Like the bat, this enemy keeps coming back for more. Keep following the path, defeating enemies along the way. Once out of the subway they'll have gone. Now just drive to the end. LVL 21: High Rise From here kill the ninja and then refill HP if needed. Now kill the bikists. More ninja plus an Earth Elemental will appear. Now go up the stairs. Climb the stairs. Refill HP if needed. Go through the hole. Go to where the next HP refill is and more crows will attack you. Maybe you can guess who the main boss of this chapter will be? Refill HP if needed. Destroy the pesky crows. Now go to the unblocked door. A new friend! Air Elemental. This guys is quite tough. When he starts spinning with a black aura, get away as quick as possible as its not blockable and you can't hit through it. He should go down easily. Once he's defeatd, pick up the Air Soul. This gives your bike a Speed Boost (R2). And let's you destroy Air Magic. Back Track through the door. Go back to the big hole and back onto the stairs. Refill HP if needed. Go down.
