This card game is a variety of poker/solitaire known as Poker Square. The details of the game are below. -------- CONTROLS -------- ~~ D-Pad : Move falling card. ~~ A Button : Pause card movement for up to sixty seconds in a level. ~~ B Button : Rotate through cards while cards fall. ~~ Start Button : Pause/unpause. ~~ Select Button: N/A. ~~ L/R Buttons : These only have functions on the GBA SP and GameBoy Player ways of playing the game. They will widen/narrow the screen, respectively. Otherwise, N/A. ------------- SINGLE PLAYER ------------- Goal: Create poker hands in the various columns and rows of the 5x5 spaces. You will make the hands disappear as they are completed with actual hands. You will need to meet a designated number of points or eliminate all 52 cards to progress to the next level. Setup: The game begins with a tableau containing 25 spaces (five rows and five columns). Each space in the tableau can only contain one card. How to Play: You will receive cards, and then need to place them within the 5x5 space to make poker hands, as below. You will eliminate cards as legitimate hands are made. The given game ends when you run out of space or eliminate every card. In the case of the former, you will then lose 50 points per card remaining - in that case, you can only go to the next level if you are still above the minimum point level. Otherwise, game over. Scoring: Note that, due to the nature of this game, Four of a Kind and Royal Flush are not possible - you'll end up triggering Three of a Kind and Flush, respectively, before doing so.
