HOW TO PLAY *battle mode* once you enter the battle excluding the first one, you are given the option of choosing who you want to fight in the battle. Once you're in battle you are automatically in view mode. move the cursor around to view enemy stats.Press B to exit. You can always return to this mode by pressing B again. Now you can move your characters around. Press A to open up a menu with the following options: FIGHT: When in range of an enemy, launches a physical attack. TALK: Talk to enemies, who say a pointless line. Required to get GIRL MAGIC: Opens up the magic menu, with various spells to use TECH: opens up the techique menu, with techs to use ITEM: Opens up the item menu, with items to use. STATS: Opens up the stats menu for that particular character CHECK: Used to open up treasure chests DONE: Ends turn. Status Screen The top displays the name, and below that is the family/class the character belongs to. To the left of that is the level. Also displayed are the Techs, and magic spells. HP: how much life you have: When this reaches zero, you're dead PP: how much power? pts you have: When this reaches zero, you can't cast any spells or use any techs. STR: strength: The higher the number, the more damage you do with physical attacks and techs MGT: might: In other words, your defense. The higher the value, the less damage you take.possibly only physical MAG: magic defense: affects how much damage your magic attacks do and how much magic damage you take. SPD: speed: affects how soon your turn comes up. LUK: Luck: afters how often you get critcals, double attacks, etc. Also, The little box in the upper left-hand corner of the battle screen shows the phases of the moon. This affects how docile monsters are(?) A Full moon will increase monsters power (unconfirmed), and affect how easily they will join your party(?) Pretty easy huh? You can equip items at the character selection screen. To select characters, press A over the icon. press B to unselect. When you're done selecting, Press start. Press A to select a character. Press A to equip the item you select. Press B to cancel. Press A to go back to the equip screen. If you press B again you'll go back to the character selection screen. Press enter to start the battle. Another important thing to remember is that GIRL's convince tech allows you to recruit beasts and monsters. II. WALKTHROUGH *MAP 01: Papiel Woods* Enemies Lv. 1 Thief: 5 Lv. 2 Robber: 1 Treasures 100 Makka Head up and kill the first two guys, then talk to the GIRL. Continue up, kill the remaining thieves, get the treasure. Then CHECK the space 3 or 4 spaces above the bridge. It next to the mountain. Congrats, you've found Hidden Map #1!! *HIDDEN MAP 01* Enemies none Treasures 150 makka 200 makka 250 makka barrier ring jewel holy water amrita After you've got all the treasure, move HERO onto the village icon. NABIA talk the first person you meet here. This is WYLDE, the servant of GIRL. After the conversation the two of them will join you. Exit and head to Shukett Cave *MAP 02, Shukett Cave* part. 1: Ancient Slate Enemies Lv. 1 Unicorn: 4 Treasures H. Amrita head in, kill everything get treasure. get a unicorn if you want. Move guys into the cave. part 2: Interior Cave Enemies Lv. 1 Weredog: 4 Lv. 1 Ogre: 2 Treasures Slate note, you're characters will only enter this part, when they move onto the cave icon. The enemies here are pretty tough. I suggest you keep behind any monsters you want keep. make sure to get the treasure. head out to Jenun JENUN I recommand you buy a joy coin, it will give you 5 exp per turn. It'll make it easier to level up your weaker characters. Then talk to the people, especially Hera, the woman standing on the dock. She'll translate the tablet for you and join your party. Talk to the mysterious man on the other dock, then exit and head to the Hideout. *Map 03: Den of Thieves* Part 1: Outer Area Enemies Lv. 1 Thief: 11 Lv. 2 Robber: 2 Treasures none scorched earth, destroy everything. Head down. Part 2: Storeroom Enemies Lv. 1. Thief: 3 Lv. 2 Robber: 2 Lv. 3 Stras: 1 Treasures Spd Mush Rope Ladder Head down. avoid Stras as he doesn't move and take everyone else out. Get treasure. Then gang up on Stras, using Wyld and Hero, and Hera's magic. After the battle, Stras will join up with you, and give you the rope ladder from the treasure chest he was guarding. Isn't it wierd how all these people drop everything and randomly join up with you, all in the name of saving the world? And how you simply let them join? These people have been watching too much anime and playing one too many RPGs or something. o_0 *Map 04: Sage Valley* Enemies Lv. 1 Ogre: 6 Lv. 1 Pegasus: 2 Lv. 1 Wyvern: 7 Lv. 1 Alhb: 1 Treasures potion 10 makka 500 makka 600 makka PowrHerb Oh! No! The village is under attack. Well it's time to slaughter the merciless invaders. Send WYLDE and GIRL east to get the chests. The rest should held left and up to get to the village. However if you want the Alba, send GIRL left, and if you want both the Alba and Pegasus, then hold off the east party. Resistance Village Talk to the spear-wielding girl, who is yet another spontaneous member who joins cause you're so strong. Enter the house. Then head north and speak with the mysterious MIB: T. exit *Map 05: Desert's End* Enemies Lv. 5 Alta: 1 Lv. 1 Ahlb: 2 Lv. 1 Loki: 2 Lv. 1 Ogre: 3 Lv. 1 Weredog: 3 Lv. 2 Robbers: 8 Treasures 700 makka 250 makka Split your party in two. Send Stras, Wylde, and Freon up and take out the Loki. Continue North with them. Send the rest west. Have them take out the guys by the chest, a wyvern's firebreath can come in handy here. Now you have two choices for taking out Alta. You can either have GIRL talk to him, or simply pound him into submission. Either way, you have a new member. Before heading into town, CHECK the spot in the middle of the field. It's a light patch surrounded by 4 darker ones. Answer yes to its question and you will get Device A. DESERT TOWN OF DEZA Nothing much here. Talk to the girl next to the signpost for something interesting. Map 06: Pyramid Hordes part 1: 1st floor Enemies Lv. 1 Loki: 5 Lv. 1 Alba: 3 Lv. 1 Werewolf: 1 Treasures Pwr shroom Charm shroom Split your party in two and head each way. Each party should have at least 2 good fighters and a healer. Have Alta take out the Lokis. Take it slow, and keep your people together. part 2: 2nd floor Lv. 1 Loki: 4 Lv. 1 Alba: 1 Lv. 1 Werewolf: 2 Treasures H. Amrita Send your forces in, and gang up on your enemies one by one. Make sure to talk to Rei. head to the next floor part 3: 3rd floor Lv. 1 Werewolf: 1 Lv. 1 Troll: 1 Lv. 1 Pazuzu: 1 Treasure 800 makka Earth Magnes Don't rush this floor. Wait for your guys to catch up. Take out the werewolf using magic if you have it. Then rush the the last two guards with everything you've got. Take treasure chest they're guarding last. CASBAH Go shopping, talk to the people as well as T. *MAP 07: Volcano* enemies Lv.1 Wyvern: 6 Lv.1 Ogre: 10 This is one boring trekfest. It took me some 25 moves to get to the end. Hopefully, you have a Quetzalc by now. Send it and firebreath the small groups clustered around. Then send HERO, GIRL, and Alta around the long trek. Have Alta TALK to Reenfa, who'll join your party. Now notice the lightly colored patches? Have GIRL CHECK on the second one, next to Reenfa. You've found SECRET MAP #2!! *SECRET MAP 02* enemies none treasures 40 makka amrita Have GIRL talk to the girl. do it twice if necessary. You now have a new member. Back in the upper world, Have HERO move toward the bigger lightly colored patches. As you approach, a huge fissure opens up and sucks everyone from across the map in. I detect a serious deviation from the laws of physics here. *MAP 09: Old Mine* enemies Lv.1 Loki: 1 Lv.1 Chimera: 5 Lv.1 Ahlb: 2 Lv.1 Werewolf: 2 Lv.1 Ogre: 6 Lv.1 Defenser: 2 treasures: 500 makka 500 makka 500 makka Secret Wings Amulet H.amrita 3000 makka 350 makka flame magnes send a flying creature out to collect the chest. Notice that little bare patch sticking out of the wall to the right. Head over and CHECK it out. It's Sphinx, the mysterious quiz master. Answer Monado, the right answer. You recieve 3000 makka. and a complimentary set of travel luggage. really. Send the rest around and take things out slowly. FEEDA VILLAGE head into the empty house whoope, new character (Esther) and pumped up stats. When you're done, go buy a floatring, if you feel like it and exit *MAP 10: AQUA LAKE* part 1: forested entrance enemies Lv. 1 Wyvern: 2 Lv. 1 Quetzalc: 4 Lv. 1 Pegasus: 2 Lv. 1 Griffon: 2 Lv. 1 Garuda: 1 treasures 1200 makka Movement here's a pain. Equip the Angelwings on HERO. GIRL, Alta, and Troll, have good forest movement. Use them. Kill anything that moves. WIth that said, head to the bare patch in the north next to the mountains and the forest. CHECK it out. It's Samia!! if you save him, you get DEVICE B. Otherwise if you don't feel like it, you get a paltry 500 makka. Head to the East. part 2: lakeside enemies Lv. 1 Wyvern: 2 Lv. 1 Quetzalc: 4 Lv. 1 Pegasus: 3 Lv. 1 Griffon: 2 Lv. 1 Garuda: 1 treasures water magnes have your flying creatures attack each group together, get the Garuda if you can. Talk to Sepia, and you will gain another spontaneous member. Enther the village. Have her talk to OZONE. She mumbles something about FREON weaking her powers. Isn't that a funny joke? This makes all those years of science class worth it. The rest should move up launching area attacks. After dealing the two rows, split your forces up. Keep the short range attackers in the middle, but send any long range characters to the sides. have them attack the 4 remaining guards from afar, collect the chests, then rush Vivahti. FRINGE VILLAGE Nothing here, talk, shop, exit. *MAP 13: Frozen Earth* enemies Lv.1 Quetzalc 2 Lv.1 Troll 2 Lv.1 Pazuzu 2 Lv.1 Brigand: 14 treasures H. amrita leave their frozen bodies for future National Geographic articles. Wipe out the enemies, then get the chests, starting with the right one, and get the left one LAST!, because the map will be finished as soon as you get the left chest. ELOQUE visit Mahya again. Make sure to get Roehm. When that's done, head toward the center and kill T. Then send up people with high magic and take out the rest with more area attacks. Hit Vivahati and his guards using area attacks. Use physical ones on the Feldi. Make sure the keep your HP close to max, especially if you have low magic. After killing Vivahati, talk to GIRL. *MAP 21: Final Darkness* enemies Lv. 66 Bible? treasures You are now up against the final boss, The Bible of Evil. There's a lot of sixes there. Make sure to keep your fighters in a checkered position. Take way abyss will only hit one person. After Bible? has been defeated, something pops out!! enemies A. Bible It's a parasite.
