INTRODUCTION G0100 =============================================================================== Welcome to 'The Tower of Druaga' for the GameBoy, an action RPG released by Angel Software in 1989. Suggestions, comments or errors - tell me about it. Enjoy! =============================================================================== 02.) BASICS G0200 =============================================================================== As you can tell from the introduction, your objective is to recover the blue rod, rescue Ki and kill Druaga. Basics: ``````` The aim of the game is to find the exit on floor to make it to the top of the tower. On the way you will find several items to help defeat monsters and make it easier. Sometimes you are required to pick something up to finish the game. All floors are random in that they the monsters, exit and items appear at different places, including the key. The layout is always the same, however, so make use of the maps but don't forget to smash walls with your power ups. Not all treasure chests are good, so check what you are getting before making it appear to save you time, lives and running around. Quite often the treasure chest appears right where you started out. This means that it may be a good idea to look there first after meeting a criteria, or you may have picked up the item while you were starting the level and haven't moved yet. Controls: ````````` Use the A or B button to use an item. As default you will swing your sword. Keep the button pressed to walk with a drawn sword and kill enemies as you walk into them, that otherwise will hurt you. Not all enemies can be killed with the standard equipment. Gilgamesh automatically blocks with his shield from the direction he is facing. When using the sword you cannot block with your shield to the front, but still to the side it is facing. After picking up the axe, stand in front of an inner wall and press A or B to hack through it. Check the items section for a closer description of how and how not to use the axes. Just be aware that the first two have limited usage and if used once too often, will disappear from your inventory. This is very bad, and will almost certainly mean you cannot finish the game. You start the game with 50 HP. Getting touched by a foe deals a certain amount of damage, depending on our defence and the enemy itself. If you lose all health the game is over, however, you can use Continue on the main menu to return to the previous floor and try again but your points are lost. Your health regenerates a little after each level, most likely depending on how much damage you took on the last floor. It also regenerates by killing enemies although this seems a little random. Every 10th floor is a mini-boss. If you defeat it you will automatically have receive the treasure chest but also get a power-up such as strength or HP. Use the SELECT button to view your current score and compare it to the highscore. The inventory is also shown, which shows you which items you currently have. The one above the box has been picked up in the current level. You may want to frequently check what you picked up, and if you still have the pickaxe in your possession as the first two are breakable. Finally, press START to pause the game when you need a break. Score: `````` Each floor gives you a certain time to finish it. The countdown will not kill you straight away, but once the points have reached zero a red counter will tell you there are 60 seconds left until you do die. There are also will-o- wisps appearing to patrol the area. Apart of the time bonus there are also points given for slaying enemies. Your total score is displayed at the start of each floor. Display: ```````` _____________________________________________________________________ | | . . . FLOOR MAP . . . | | |---------------------------------------------------------------------| |HP X K 00000| ŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻŻ HP: Current HP X: Treasure Chest, if you have collected it on the current floor. K: Key, if you have collected it on the current floor. 00000: The floor's time bonus points as well as time countdown. Password: ````````` After every 10 floors you are given a password. This differs depending on the items you have obtained, the score and health. Input it at the main menu. There are also passwords for individual floors. =============================================================================== 03.) THE TOWER OF DRUAGA G0310 =============================================================================== Note: Each floor's layout stays the same, but the exit door and key positions will always be random, as well as enemy locations. Floor 1: ````````` Kill three white slimes to get the bronze pickaxe. With this you can destroy one inner wall per level. Try to use it twice and it will disappear, as well as trying to use it on the outer walls, so don't even bother. Floor 2: ````````` Kill two black slimes and a treasure chest containing the winged boots will appear. From now you can get through the levels much much faster. Floor 3: ````````` Kill one of the knights swooping around in the area. You get some health back after he's dead. Floor 4: ````````` To pick up the bell, simply kill the wizard. Starting from the next level you will hear a chime the first time you face the direction of the key. Floor 5: ````````` There are three few wizards ready to take you on at the start. Blocking their zaps three times will show the treasure containing an item that is required for another power up later on in the game. Just walk into a zap without your sword drawn, it's quite simple really. Then kill them perhaps to make the rest of the level easier, or kill one or two straight from the beginning. Floor 6: ````````` While you are getting the key, reach the top of the map and walk down for the treasure to appear. This will show the ghosts in the next few levels. Don't take on the black knights if not necessary. Floor 7: ````````` Use your bronze pickaxe on an inner wall twice or simply on an outer door and you can get the silver pickaxe that can be used four times, but don't use it more than that. Floor 8: ````````` From where you start out at, step onto another point that is not of the starting position's row nor column. For example if you start in the bottom left corner, go up one square and then take a step to the right. Swing your sword and pick up the power potion to improve your strength. Now go find the exit, the wizards are back unfortunately, and they can shoot the walls this time around. Floor 9: ````````` Just find the key and avoid the ghosts / wizards on the way to the exit. You need to pass by the outer wall on the right twice for the treasure, but it is only a sap potion so you better do not. Floor 10: ````````` For now, only grab the key and exit. You need to battle two large slimes. They move quite slowly and you may only need to kill one. Try to stray past them just so you catch one side with your sword. The treasure chest contains the gauntlet you will be needing later on floor 26. Floor 11: ````````` Similarly to floor 6, from the bottom of the outer wall walk up to make the chest appear containing the candle for the next few floors. Floor 12: ````````` The druid can shoot through walls, and often destroy them. Kill all enemies for the treasure. The armor is useful later. Floor 13: ````````` First find the exit and step on it before collecting the key. For the treasure chest to appear you will now have to kill every single enemy. Fortunately it's mainly some slimes and a druid. The shield is also useful later. Floor 14: ````````` Block a spell from a slime to find the treasure. This will enable you to slay the dragon much easier. Floor 15: ````````` Kill the dragon for a white necklace. Floor 16: ````````` Kill the white knight for the candle to see the ghosts for the rest of the game. Floor 17: ````````` I'm not sure what exactly makes the chest appear, but it almost always does so after taking a few steps. This is a sap potion, don't take it. Floor 18: ````````` Slaying the ghost will reveal the present. A better sword! Floor 19: ````````` Kill a magician. If you don't have this book then you won't see any walls on the next few floors and I believe the boss might just kill you really quickly. Floor 20: ````````` Safe your health for the boss as before. There are lots of enemies but try not to fight the knights. The boss is a big knight that shoots some sort of missiles into all four directions. Do not attack it if you have to advance far into a corridor. Instead wait around the corner and do some quick stabbing. Two crosses and he should be gone. You should receive a 50HP bonus at this point. Floor 21: ````````` Simply kill the ghost for the treasure, avoiding the rest of enemies as much as possible. As soon as you collect the ring the wisps won't harm you anymore. Floor 22: ````````` Not 100% clear about the chest, but I think it comes up when you walk around the middle row on the left side, one space away from the outer wall. It may take a while for you to find the right spot, but seeing that this is a sap potion, don't bother. Floor 23: ````````` When you kill all the magicians then the chest shows up, but I've also killed a slime once or twice and it does not matter unlike on the NES version. Floor 24: ````````` Simply swing your sword as you start and you'll get the balance for the gauntlet upgrade. If your first swing breaks down a wall or does nothing, swing again. Note that these wisps are of different "color" than the ones you are protected against. Floor 25: ````````` Slay all enemies on the level, fortunately they are not very hard. And you get a helmet as reward which means another health upgrade. Floor 26: ````````` There are 4 wizards and you should kill one after you have picked up the key, not before or this fails. Now that you have the Hyper Gauntlet you can swing the sword much much faster. Floor 27: ````````` Cross through a will-o-wisps. After the first one the chest will appear already. Pass through it fully, not from the side just touching its side or something. You'll take some damage but not enough to make worry about. Avoid the rest of the army on this floor if possible. Floor 28: ````````` Stand on the exit and swing the sword. Now stand on a nearby spot and swing it again. This doesn't always work, but after a few tries it will. For example if I swing it north from the exit, then walk up one spot and slightly left then swing, it might work on the second or so attempt. Not the best solution, I know, but it will do for now. Otherwise try to step over the exit door a few times. Floor 29: ````````` There are two exits, but with the book from the last floor at least you can see the second (correct) one. First you need to find the real exit, which is a guess. Keep in mind where you started and then step on the exit, return to the first spot you started at, step on the door again, collect the key, open the door and finally return to the spot where you started and you'll be given the best pickaxe. Floor 30: ````````` Keep most of your health for the boss. It's a fire-breathing dragon and it even surrounds the upper part of its body. If you have more than 100 then you can easily run into him, otherwise you have to time it a little better. HP upgrade time. Floor 31: ````````` Keep running over the spot you started out at. You may just want to battle these magicians in the process and it will pop out automatically. Floor 32: ````````` I haven't pinpointed the exact way, but if you walk across the top right corner and then across the bottom right corner, it seems to appear after one or two attempts. If not, it could be something about walking around with the sword drawn but try the former first. Floor 33: ````````` Kill the silver dragon with your sword for the shield. Floor 34: ````````` Kill both of the black & white knights for the treasure. Without it you wouldn't see the key on the remaining floors - not good. Floor 35: ````````` Another sap drink, so here is the info about the treasure for curiosity only: Kill one roper, and cross over the other. Of course you can also kill the second one if you wish. Floor 36: ````````` Take some damage and walk through one of the fires the magicians put down. Another scale, meaning another equipment upgrade on the next floor. Floor 37: ````````` Quickly kill the ghost and then cross a roper, or kill it in the process. New helmet! Floor 38: ````````` Block a zap by the wizard from the side. If you don't have this item, you won't have another rod later and in the end miss out on the boss. Floor 39: ````````` Cross a roper after the timer is below 10,000. Kill the wizards if they are a nuisance, then wait around. Once in a while an enemy might come into your vicinity. Collect the key while you are waiting as well. Floor 40: ````````` The will-o-wisps don't harm you, but there are so many enemies that the screen is often full of them. Keep your health for the boss fight. Compared to the first three fights this is even a challenge. There are two magicians and you only need to kill one of them. Not knowing which one has taken more damage so far, just go after both. After you have stabbed around 4-5 of one you will find the chest. HP is upgraded. Floor 41: ````````` As you may have noticed, the timer runs much quicker now. This is due to the last chest you were forced to pick up during the boss fight. To revert the time back to normal, kill the dragon (Quox). Floor 42: ````````` If you walk across a red will-o-wisp, pick up the key and walk across another then you can get a health potion. So which one is red? The one with the horizonal line going through. Floor 43: ````````` Should you kill the colored slimes in a particular order a chest will appear. Don't bother and enjoy the easy floor for a change. Floor 44: ````````` For the important chest to appear, kill the magic users. Try to leave the two knights alone and build a nice area without any walls so you can quickly outmaneuver those magicians and move in for the kill from the side. Floor 45: ````````` There is one chest already visible from the start, but picking it up right away will result in a rapid time decrease. Instead start killing those knights, leave the "Red Knight" alone if you want. He's the one with the lighter shade of black. With the potion from the new chest you can safely pick up the one that was around all this time. Weapons upgrades are always welcome. You NEED this weapon upgrade for the 59th floor!!! Floor 46: ````````` Kill the black dragon. With the necklace you don't need to fear any more dragon fire. Floor 47: ````````` For killing a roper you get a potion which will unlock a sap potion later on floor 49. So should you bother with that? Of course NOT. Floor 48: ````````` Simply visit all four corners and then walk into the middle row from the left side. Make sure you visit all corners properly. Since you are immune to the dragon's breath and the blue slimes are no real threat, slice your way through the walls, kind of building a ring at the outer edge. Floor 49: ````````` Just for curiosity's sake, if you picked up the potion on floor 47 then you can get a sap potion here by stepping on the exit door without the key, then killing the wizards. But there is no point in doing this. Floor 50: ````````` First get through the floor without much damage, then comes the hard part. The boss is a huge ghost, and actually comes in pairs. It seems to work best if you stay in a corner and just wait with your sword drawn. After the one with the chest is dead, pick it up. Another strength upgrade. Floor 51: ````````` Hold down any direction for several seconds (~3-5), best if you find a corner near where you start and keeping running against it so no foes are around. But first you should kill the magicians. You sneed these scales for the next floor. Floor 52: ````````` Kill every enemy on this floor. New armor, and you can survive getting hit by a spell for one time each floor. Floor 53: ````````` Kill the knights in a certain order. Or perhaps all of themin any order? Floor 54: ````````` Face south at each corner. Walking in circles around clockwise and anti- clockwise should do the trick too, but you will face plenty of enemies that are tough even for you. Floor 55: ````````` No treasure here. Either be swift or kill most of the magicians first. Floor 56: ````````` There is a treasure chest, but it's empty. It appears after getting zapped by the wizard, IF you have the Hyper Armor to absorb it. But you can only unlock it if you didn't unlock the previous chest on floor 54. Well seeing that there is no point to getting this one, it was a good idea to unlock the previous one. Floor 57: ````````` Step on the exit to make the false Ishtar appear. Kill it, and the Lizard Man as well. The treasure contains a maze that you need on floor 59. Floor 58: ````````` In the 8th row from the left, in the second row from the top, walk down to the second row from the bottom. There is a single wall in your way, which should also make this column easy to spot. Walk down to the second row, then turn left and go up through the walls in this column. When you have passed the middle block (4th from the top), walk back down. This sequence should make the chest appear, otherwise try walking a little further down and properly around. Do not pass through the last spot from another side but down. This treasure is required for the dragon to show up on the next floor. Floor 59: ````````` If you just pick up the key and leave, you'll be zapped to a previous floor. To get up to the last floor, first kill the wizards that can mirror themselves twice. They will stop coming back then. Until then, stay away from the Mirror Knight who you need to kill next. Ignore the two other knights if you can. After the Mirror Knight is dead, another wizard will show up that can mirror himself to appear as four. Each illusion zaps you, often from every side. Only one of them is the real wizard, and with the Hyper Sword in hand you can slay him. As mentioned previously, to maneuver around them easier, hack down a small patch of walls for a big field. Once you've managed to kill the master wizard, a mean dragon will show. He'll take quite a beating but eventually go down. If you didn't spend any time fighting the rest of the knights you should still have more than 200HP left. The Druaga is quite tough to beat. If you took down the previous enemies quickly you should have enough HP left to take him down in a similar fashion. Finally, if haven't done so already, take the key and the last floor awaits. Floor 60: ````````` _______________________________________________ |_____________________________________________ | |________________________B____________________ | |_____________________________________________ | |K_______________________C____________________ I| |_____________________________________________ | |________________________A____________________ | |_______________________________________________| Should you use the axe on a wall or the sword to kill anyone, you'll be zapped back to a previous floor. To complete the last floor, walk into Ishtar (who will disappear), then look down at point A. It's 7 steps into the 2nd lowest corridor. You will know if you have done it correctly, as a small tower with a lit ball will appear on the left of Gilgamesh. Do the same on the 2nd row from the top, it's obviously easier to know which column at this point. Finally, enter the middle row and go left all the way. The stone will turn into Ki, so run into her and return towards the middle of the map. Look down in this row, at the same point as the other two corridors. CONGRATULATIONS !! NOW YOU SAVED KI AND THE ADVENTURE IS OVER or is it...? The Endings differs on how well you did in your quest. If you finish with no or up to three continues you get the great ending (you'll kwow what it is). If you use more than you just get a screen that shows you have rescued Ki. If you use a lot of continues you get the lonely screen. =============================================================================== 03.) ANOTHER DRUAGA G0320 =============================================================================== Before you start the game, press B 6x, Left 4x, Right 3x to play 'Another Druaga'. The main screen will change colors slightly to show correct entry. Floor 1: ````````` You have to kill two slimes while not moving. To do so, just draw your sword near one and wait...wait...and wait some more. You could be unlucky and it never happens. And once you get one you still have to get the second before time runs out. Floor 2: ````````` Kill one black slimes going from north to south and a treasure chest containing the winged boots will appear. From now you can get through the levels much much faster. Floor 3: ````````` Kill all the slime without getting in trouble with the knights. Floor 4: ````````` To pick up the bell, simply swing the sword while you are near the door. Face it and kind of swing towards itm making sure you are close enough. Starting from the next level you will hear a chime the first time you face the direction of the key. Floor 5: ````````` There are three few wizards ready to take you on at the start. Blocking their zaps five times will show the treasure containing an item that is required for another power up later on in the game. The only problem is that you cannot move while you are getting zapped. Usually they will stop showing up if you don't move, but then there are rare and unfortunately random spots where there just keep coming. So hope you face the direction when they do as you also need to survive their attacks. Floor 6: ````````` Make one of the magicians put a flame on the door. To get this done, the best way is to stand behind the door and a wall, then just run into said wall. The magicians will target you from the other side and eventually put fire onto the door. You may be unlucky and have a badly placed door. This treasure item will show the ghosts in the next few levels. Don't take on the black knights if not necessary. Floor 7: ````````` Let the timer run down until the 60 second countdown starts. Now use the axe once too often to lose it, then you get a new one. In all this time you can go collect the key, return to where you started and also avoid most of the knights unless you feel like taking them on. You get the silver pickaxe to be used on a wall four times, but don't use it more than that and not the outer one as usual. Floor 8: ````````` Draw your sword from far away when you spot the key, then walk through it with your sword still drawn. It doesn't work from close range, you really nee to start out at least 4 spots away. Pick up the power potion to improve your strength. Floor 9: ````````` As usual you don't want the sap drink, but for curiosity the chest appears after you have crossed the ghost. Well, don't, and just head for the exit with the key in hand. Floor 10: ````````` For now, only grab the key and exit. You need to battle two large slimes. They move quite slowly and you may only need to kill one. Try to stray past them just so you catch one side with your sword. The treasure chest contains the gauntlet you will be needing later on floor 26. Floor 11: ````````` When you start, walk up to the north wall and then down south, still staying in the second column from the left. After you have passed your starting position, return up to the wall and the chest should appear. If not, just walk south a bit more than you did. Floor 12: ````````` Kill the enemies in this order: both Slimes, both Druids and then the Ghost. The tricky part is making the Ghost not follow you all the time, or killing it by accident. Floor 13: ````````` Step on the door, then grab the key and open the key. Do not go through yet as the chest just appeared and you need that item for later. Floor 14: ````````` Simply wait for the timer to run down to 5000, then the chest shows up. You might want to kill some enemies to waste time. Floor 15: ````````` Touch the right wall, then run over the other side and touch the left wall. Get the treasure, hopefully not many enemies will block your path. Floor 16: ````````` Kill the Mirror Knight first, this means avoiding the mages until then. Once he is dead you can take those out, or just run for the exit. Floor 17: ````````` Draw your sword and run into the outer wall where you started, just make sure you don't draw it while you face it directly. The treasure chest pops up - you grab it - and make for the exit as usual. Floor 18: ````````` Avoid the ghost, if you touch him then it's bye-bye chest. Avoid him until you manage to open the door, then grab the sword and leave, killing whatever you like in the process. Floor 19: ````````` The dragon needs to breath fire for at least five spaces long. This mean you either have to lure him to an open spot, or hack through some walls to make it easier for him to do so. Floor 21: ````````` This is a little tough. You have to kill both mirror knights before you kill the ghost, and once you kill that ghost the chest appears. The tough thing is that both knights aren't pushovers, the ghost might come around and commit suicide by floating in front or just hurt you at the same time. Finally, those will-o-wisps are around too. Floor 22: ````````` There's a sap potion here, but I won't bother to get into it. Floor 23: ````````` You need to start by killing a Slime, then a Wizard, another Slime and so on. When the last slime is dead the chest will appear unless you screwed up the order. Slime, Wizard, Slime, Wizard, Slime, Wizard, Slime. It might have happened because you did not kill a Wizard when you tought you did, listen to the sounds carefully. Floor 24: ````````` Walk through a will-o-wisp from the bottom, i.e. a row below you going up. They follow a certain path so you can think ahead where they will go next. First thing I would do, however, is get rid of most of these annoying enemies and then watch one of those will-o-wisps where they are going. Floor 25: ````````` Again, no treasure. Floor 26: ````````` Tough, you need to dodge the druids and not block their zaps until you manage to open the exit door. Get your personal revenge afterwards as you run back for the package. Floor 27: ````````` Uh-oh, break your axe in exchange for a necklace. You get a new pickaxe on floor 29 but that means you have to do without for the next level. You start next to the outer wall so just break it there quickly and you get the package before even moving. But if you want you can first hack a path to the key and exit, it may become useful. Floor 28: ````````` Due to the fact that you are without an axe in the floor, you may want to keep the ghost alive so he destroy walls for you. It's risky of course, but it's also risky to have to walk through all these ropers. Speaking of ropers, you need to walk through one twice for the treasure chest, sounds weird but you can survive it with enough health. To get more health you could try to kill something, like those slimes. Floor 29: ````````` A simply task is at hand. Draw your sword and press the START button. You immediately have the best pickaxe (unless you moved around for some reason) after unpausing the game. Great stuff, now hack your way towards the exit - the real one that is. Floor 30: ````````` Keep most of your health for the boss. It's a fire-breathing dragon and it even surrounds the upper part of its body. If you have more than 100 then you can easily run into him, otherwise you have to time it a little better. HP upgrade time. Floor 31: ````````` First kill the wizards, then find the key. Draw the sword and run into the key and into a nearby wall. Keep holding down the direction and hope no othe enemy interrupts this process. After around 10 seconds (or 3000 game time) the chest should show up. If not then you must have done something wrong because I tested this with two different layouts. Floor 32: ````````` You need to kill the dragon when it's facing south and you have to kill it from the front. It will stop when you are nearby so this shouldn't be too hard. Just make sure it's facing the right way or you have to go away a few blocks and wait for it move into the right position. Floor 33: ````````` Seek out the two slimes and slay them before any other foe. This might be dodging the ghost and mage a lot. After the slimes you can kill them and collect the new shield. Floor 34: ````````` Grab the key and cross over a Mirror Knight. You may need to kill him or just run for the exit after you have the book. Floor 35: ````````` Would you kill two wizards and then block a zap from the slime, but only from the side while you draw your sword, then the chest appears. It's no good though, so ignore this last sentence and just fetch the key and leave. Floor 36: ````````` Find the Lizard, draw your sword and wait for it to cross over you. This should make the chest appear and only deal small amounts of damage. Floor 37: ````````` First get the key and open the door. Now that is done, find and kill a roper and then kill the ghost afterwards. The chest should show up now. Floor 38: ````````` Block a spell from the side, i.e. with your sword drawn. This isn't too tricky but it might help if you get rid of some walls around you to move around more freely. Floor 39: ````````` Just kill one enemy and the chest already appears. Floor 41: ````````` Stand on the exit door, block a zap and grab the chest. Floor 42: ````````` Not sure if this treasure is optional, but you may want to get it anyway to be on the safe side. Avoid any contact with the red will-o-wisps and you should see it when you collect the key. Floor 43: ````````` There's no need for this sap potion. You need to kill the slimes in a specific order, but I won't get into that. Floor 44: ````````` After a few levels of useless junk, you are back in the good treasure. First make it to the exit door without the key, then collect the key. You can kill anything on the way. Floor 45: ````````` Kill the enemies in a specific order: Lizardman, Hyper Knight (Black & fast), Mirror Knigh (White & fast), Black Knight (Black & slow), Blue Knight (Gray & Slow). Ignore the chest that is already there, only take the second one to be able to get the item in the first chest. The Red Knight is not so easy to spot, but he is just about between the other two pairs in terms of speed. Floor 46: ````````` You start near the wall, so take out your axe and hack a ring just inside the outer wall. Make your way all the way around until you get back where you started. If you did this right the chest is really close, too. Floor 47: ````````` You need this item if you want the chest on Fllor 49. You don't, so just leave this floor quickly. Floor 48: ````````` To get the chest, destroy the walls in all four corners of the map. This means you will have a nice 4-block square in each corner. The ghost might even help out a little. Floor 49: ````````` HP drain, no thank you. Moving along. Floor 50: ````````` The boss is a huge ghost, and actually comes in pairs. It seems to work best if you stay in a corner and just wait with your sword drawn. After the one with the chest is dead, pick it up. Another strength upgrade. Floor 51: ````````` This is tough. You have to open the door without touching any enemy including the spells and fire. There is one layout where this is quite easy, with the door just north of the start and the key a bit to the west. But for all the others I wish you good luck in avoiding the enemies. Floor 52: ````````` Easy enough, slay the silver (white) dragon and grab the contents of the chest. Floor 53: ````````` _______________________________________________ | |__ __|_____ __ __| | |__ | | |__ __|_____ | __|_____ | | __ | |__ | __ |__ |_____ _____|__ |__| | |_____|__| __|__ | |__ ________| | | |__ | _____|__ __|________ |__ | | __| | __|_____ A|________| | __ | |_____|__|___________|______________|_____|__|__| Stand at point A and draw the sword, then walk south to the outer wall. If you didn't get the chest at this point, try walking from further north down to the wall instead. Floor 54: ````````` _______________________________________________ |__ | __ |A __ __ | |__ | | _____| |__| __|__ |_____| __|__ __| |_____|__ | __ | __ | |__| __| | | | | __| |__| |__| | ____ _| ________| | |__ __|_____ | | |_____| __| | __| |__| ________|__| | __|__|__ | |_____________________________|__|________|_____| Draw the sword and walk inot point A from the right side. Turn south while you still have the sword out and the chest should be here. Floor 55: ````````` You may get this by accident, but an empty box represents itself once you break down a wall. Pointless really. Floor 56: ````````` It's another empty box on this floor. It will appear if you have your sword drawn and absorb a zap with the hyper armor you picked up earlier. Useless, so don't let your guard down. Floor 57: ````````` Do not collect the key until I tell you. First step on the door to make the stone into the faux Ishtar (Succubus). Then defeat it in a single stroke. Repeat this step two more times and the chest will finally appear. Now collect the key and leave. Floor 58: ````````` _______________________________________________ | __| __| __ __| |__ __| | |__ __| |__| |__| |A __|__| __| | | | |_____ | __ | __| |__| __ | | ________| __ | |C_|_____ __ |__| | | |__ | |__|__ __| |_____|__| | | | | | |_____| __|__ B __|_____ | | __| |_____|________|__|_____________________________| First clear the wall south of point C. You may also want to try and lure away and enemies in the area. Start at point A. Draw your sword and walk down to point B, then back to A and finally through C. The trick is not to walk through C from the south first, walk around it and only pass from the north side. Floor 59: ````````` This is just like the normal tower's floor. First kill the two wizards, then the Hyper Knight. Ignore the other Knights as much as possible to keep your defense up. Also do not get zapped by any magician as it decreases your strength too. Kill the Wizard that can split into four images. You will know when the correct one is hit as the Dragon appears. Kill it in one hit and then prepare for Druaga himself. He'll throw lots of spells at you but should go down pretty quickly if you picked up all the necessary items so far. Now you may leave via the final exit door. Floor 60: ````````` _______________________________________________ |_____________________________________________ | |________________________B____________________ | |_____________________________________________ | |K_______________________C____________________ I| |_____________________________________________ | |________________________A____________________ | |_______________________________________________| Should you use the axe on a wall or the sword to kill anyone, you will be zapped back to a previous floor. To complete the last floor, walk into Ishtar (who will disappear), then draw your sword and look down at point A. It is 7 steps into the 2nd lowest corridor. You will know if you have done it correctly when a small tower with a lit ball will appear on the left of Gilgamesh. Do the same on the 2nd row from the top, it's obviously easier to know which column at this point. Finally, enter the middle row and go left all the way. The stone will turn into Ki, so run into her and return towards the middle of the map. Draw your sword once again and look down in this passage, at the same point as the other two corridors.
