Puzzle Boy 2(GameBoy) FAQ/Walkthrough version 1.0.0 by schultw.andrez@sbcglobal.net(anti spam spoonerism) Please do not reproduce this FAQ for profit without my prior consent. However, if you write a polite e-mail to me referring to me(and this FAQ) by name, then I will probably say OK. But if I ignore you that means no--and I am bad about answering e-mail. Sorry. ================================ OUTLINE 1. INTRODUCTION 2. CONTROLS AND RULES 3. GENERAL STRATEGIES 4. LEVEL MODE 5. CHALLENGE MODE 6. CHEATS 7. VERSIONS 8. CREDITS ================================ 1. INTRODUCTION Puzzle Boy 2 is similar to Kwirk/Puzzle Boy, but it has a few more levels. You control a guy or, later, a set of guys who run through a maze pushing rectangles. If the rectangle lands on a pit, you will see it vanish along with the pit. If you try to step on a pit square, partially covered by a rectangle or not, you can't. There are also turnstiles to flip through of 1-4 prongs. PB2's puzzles are entertaining but without training in Kwirk they are maddening. I was able to play this game without the benefit of translation and hope you can to. 2. CONTROLS AND RULES Start menu: 1st option = training 2nd option/1st = challenge(4 sets of 10 levels, beat 1st 7 to get 8-10) 2nd/2nd = password to start challenge some other way 3rd option/1st selection=challenge mode--3 stages of 10 chosen from a random pool 4th = challenge of random levels 3. End of FAQ Proper ================================ 7. VERSIONS 1.0.0: sent to GameFAQs 4/4/2008, complete in puzzle mode. 8. CREDITS Thanks to GameFAQs for being, well, THERE. Thanks to the usual GameFAQs gang, current and emeritus. They know who they are, and you should, too, because they get/got some SERIOUS writing done. Good people too--bloomer, falsehead, Sashanan, Masters, Retro, Snow Dragon/Brui5ed Ego, ZoopSoul, War Doc, Brian Sulpher, AdamL, odino, JDog, Lagoona, Da Hui and others I forgot. OK, even Hydrophant in his current not- yet-banned message board incarnation. I am not part of his gang, but I want him to be part of mine. Thanks to the VisualBoyAdvance folks for all their work that makes my work easier when I write for an old game.
