      INTRODUCTION

If you look on the TV Screen (or your CPU if you are using the MESS Emulator),
you will see a bunch of X's and O's. These have nothing to do with any hugs and
kisses. This is American Pro Football where the toughest of the toughest people
on the gridiron go head to head in a 8-on-8 battle. While this game is not very
much to look at, it is still playable on a competition side of things.

        CONTROLS
o---------------------o

Hold the controller pad in a direction including diagonals or keep it centered
then twist left of right (Button 3 or 4) to choose that play.

up - play 1
up/right - play 2
right - play 3
down/right - play 4
down - play 5
down/left - play 6
left - Play 7
up/left - Play 8
center - play 9

        GAMEPLAY
o---------------------o

General:

-Player 1 controls the Os and player 2 controls the Xs.

-This is one quarter game that lasts for 5:00. After time elapses, the game
 is over.

-Player 2 (X's) always move left to right and playe 1 (O's) move right to left.

Offense:
-You can choose to run the football with the quarterback or throw it to one of
 the other seven other players straight ahead from the quarterback.

-If you manage to reach the goal line, then you score a touchdown which will
 net you seven points.

-Kicking a field goal nets you three points. You are better off kicking it if
 you are within 30 yards from the endzone.

Plays: (X & Z = receivers - top and bottom, Y = Tight End - middle)

up - Y = screen pass, X&Z = corner post route
up/right - X = In route then corner, Y = screen, Z = Outward curl
right - X&Z = Stop & Go routes, Y = Fly
down/right - X - slant route, Y = Fade to seam route, Z = Fly
down - Sweep left for green, sweep right for blue. X = Post Corner, Y = fly, 
       Z = post route
down/left - Sweep left for green, sweep right for blue. X = Seam, Y = screen,
       Z = Corner Post.
left - field goal
up/left - punt
center - X = In route, Y = out route, Z = corner post route


Defense:

-Tackling the player in their endzone results in a safety worth two points and
 nets you possession of the ball.

-If a pass is caught by the defense, it is ruled an interception and defense 
 takes possession.

Plays:

up - Strong safety follows inside
up/right - Strong safety follows Behind
right - Free safety follows inside
down/right - Free safety follows Behind
down - Linebacker blitz, Strong safety follows inside
down/left - Linebacker blitz, Strong safety follows Behind
left - Linebacker blitz, Free safety follows inside
up/left - Linebacker blitz, Free safety follows Behind
center - computer controls all 3 main backs
