Worth spending ten bucks on? : Yes. Best P.C. Game: (Tie) FFVII, and Rainbow Six - (Hard to control) Get on with the stupid FAQ? : Oops!..oh yeah, huh? Well, anyways, here's the FAQ.- Table of Contents: 1. Introduction 2. Secrets (Not Real Good ones Though) 3. The Best Cars. 4. The Cool Tracks to Race. 5. The Basic Winning Strategy. 6. The End! 7. Why Don't You Write and Help Gamefaqs.com out Too? 8. Thanks and the legal junk. INTRODUCTION: Cruisin' the World is sequel to the much loved classic arcade game, Cruisin' USA. They both turned into 64 games but the arcade-ness of it still lives on. The whole game is a really, really cool game. Here it is! SECRETS: The Wheelie: Just hit the gas twice fast and it will fire up and wheelie! New Cars: Just hit the View buttons and hold them and check out the coolest cars. Machine Gun Fire: Select the hummer as your car and while you're driving, hit the START button and hold and watch the bullets fly. I don't think that they do damage to anything though. Honk horn: Press Start with the other cars. 3 New Tracks: At the track selection screen, press 1 of the view buttons. All of them will not appear. Hold different ones to get different tracks. They are: Hawaii, Africa, and Australia. THE BEST CARS: The one wheeled truck is definitely a really cool car. The Hummer is also a candidate. The Viper is the best one though. Although all of the cars are really, really cool, some may look the part but don't play it well. In English, it means that they look cool but are not all that great on all-out speed. The only places that I've played this game is at home, Jimmy's Arcade, Camelot Park, and a downtown bowling alley. That's plenty enough experience for me though. The truck is cool because it's really fast and awesome. It's funny when you turn on a sharp turn and wheelie. The thing almost flips over. All of the cars are awesome. So don't put the game down. It's not it's fault that I like one wheeled trucks. COOL TRACKS TO RACE ON: Here's the Basic List of Cool Tracks in the Game: 1.) Hawaii 2.) Russia 3.) Japan 4.) Australia 5.) Egypt 6.) China (Hard) THE FACTS ON THE TRACKS: Hawaii: Difficulty: Moderate Fun-ness: Really Cool HINT: If you cruise the world, you can find hawaii as a main-stream track, not an extra. Russia: Difficulty: Moderate Fun-ness: Fair-Good HINT: There are no hints. Sorry. Just keep to the inside and hug the turns. Do wheelies for speed boosts. Japan: Difficulty: Moderate Fun-ness: Good HINT: Just keep to the inside and hug the turns. Do wheelies for speed boosts. Australia: Difficulty: Easy-Moderate Fun-ness: Cool HINT: Sorry. No hints. Egypt: Difficulty: Easy Fun-ness: Neat-Cool HINT: If you do a wheelie right onto a jump, you can do a back-flip. China: Difficulty: Hard Fun-ness: Although hard, cool. HINT: Take all of the above hints as advice. THE BEST WINNING STRATEGY: Here it is folks. The key to unlocking this game is.. The way you drive (duh.). So how are you supposed to drive then ? The Answer: Like a complete maniac. Wheelie constantly on the strait-a-ways, and hug the turns like they were your blood-relatives. Get a fast car and I'll give you a money-back-guarantee that you'll place third or better. If you do it right. I get first all of the time with this. Well, maybe not first all of the time, but sometimes and when I don't, I place third or better. So don't worry, this FAQ will get you through it all the way. On games like Off-Road Challenge for 64 and arcade, they have pretty stiff steering, but this game is an angel in that section. This game turns like it's oiled three times a day. It's awesome. So hit the curves right and you've got smooth sailing the whole way through. Watch out for vans, drunk drivers, big-rigs, and cows. They'll slow you down. Well, not the cows at least. THE END: Don't worry. I'll be back to write others soon. Check out my Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, Abe's Exodus, Crash 3, Starcraft, and other stuff at the contributor recognition under Z.Thiesen or ThE bLImP if the guy got my e-mail I sent him notifying him of my new name.
