If you have a version of PS for another system, please send me e-mail listing the differences. --------------------------------------------------------------- GAME DESCRIPTION: --------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------- TECHNIQUES: --------------------------------------------------------------- If you paralyze a giant, then any small creatures touching it will also be paralyzed. You can push paralyzed creatures and droplets by standing next to them. This is a very useful technique if you want to get a lot of points by killing many creatures at once. You can form them into a line and then throw a droplet at them. --------------------------------------------------------------- ITEMS: --------------------------------------------------------------- Miscellaneous Items: Golden Taito triangle temporary invulnerability Star with rainbow trail temporary invulnerability Rainbow-colored star extra life blue donut paralyze all small creatures rod all creatures become 10k pt items when vanquished crystal ball tokens appear at the beginning of levels instead after a certain amount of time Lamps: red lamp all creatures become 10k pt items when vanquished yellow lamp a Miracle Icon appears, even if an Icon does not normally appear on that level blue lamp ? Rings: red ? blue 10 points per left or right movement. Big points if you keep moving! Hearts: If you get a heart, then a certain point item will appear at every location where a hidden point item can normally be found. The new items will erase any revealed hidden point items. WARNING: continue coins are erased, too! It may not be worth getting a heart if you're about to reveal a coin! -----COLOR-------------------------EFFECT---------- pink many 10 point items red 30 green 3000 light blue 6000 yellow 7000 Crosses: Crosses cause massive death to smite the enemies. -----COLOR-------------------------EFFECT---------- blue water drowns all of the monsters instantly (on the Amiga, they forgot to fill the screen with water!). yellow lightning bolts fall from the top of the screen until all monsters are destroyed. --------------------------------------------------------------- CODES: --------------------------------------------------------------- Type "A WORD" (with the space). The following keys cause certain effects: M - Get 3 Star Miracle icons. AKA known as Instant Death and Big Food. T - End the level. 1-7 - Skip to that level in the current world. Level 7 is the boss. F1-F10- Skip to that world. What I call 3a is listed as world 9. G - Kill everything. I recommend 'M' instead for the points! C - Extra credit. D - Die... B - Instant bonus potion. X - Skip to hidden world 3a. All monsters will be unable to move when you use this code. *The game will crash* after you beat the last boss. Type "CYNIX" to skip to the last world. --------------------------------------------------------------- HIDDEN LEVELS: --------------------------------------------------------------- On world 3, level 3, a pink heart will appear. If you get it, then several 10 point items will appear. Notice that they form the word "IN". If you get them all, then you will be warped to a hidden world. It is almost impossible to get all of the items before they disappear unless you have a friend playing with you. If you get the Star Miracle, you can get a key which will let you into world 9. --------------------------------------------------------------- MIRACLE ICONS: --------------------------------------------------------------- Get three similar Miracle Icons and a door will appear at the end of the world after you beat the boss. Behind this door will be a special giant item. All of the monsters on the level where you caused the miracle will become 100000 point giant point items! LIGHTNING MIRACLE: A giant bell will appear. All the levels in the next world will have an increased chance of crosses or other good items appearing. WATER MIRACLE: A giant crystal ball will appear. All the levels in the next world which contain a Miracle Icon will reveal the Icon when you first start the level. You won't have to wait for it to appear. FIRE MIRACLE: A giant lamp will appear. All the levels in the next world will cause dead monsters to turn into 10000 point items. STAR MIRACLE: A giant key will appear which will allow you to enter the last level. --------------------------------------------------------------- MIRACLE ICON LOCATIONS: --------------------------------------------------------------- LOCATION - I've divided the screen into 9 zones as follows: +---+---+---+ | A | B | C | +---+---+---+ | D | E | F | N - no Miracle Icon on this level +---+---+---+ | G | H | I | +---+---+---+ --------LEVEL----------LOCATION---------TYPE----- World 1 1 F lightning 2 N 3 N 4 N 5 N 6 C water World 2 1 F lightning 2 N 3 N 4 N 5 H lightning 6 N World 3 1 H fire 2 N 3 F water 4 N 5 N 6 N World 3a (IN level) 1 2 3 4 5 6 World 4 1 lightning 2 N 3 N 4 N 5 fire 6 N World 5 1 water 2 N 3 water 4 water /5 N? \6 fire? WEAPON: Lightning HOW TO KILL: If you can't beat this guy, you are brain-dead! World 2 DESCRIPTION: A big bird in a flower pot. WEAPON: Fire HOW TO KILL: Use your parasol to block the little birds. Grow some mega drops and drop the fire on the platforms. Lead the boss into the fire. World 3 DESCRIPTION: A sea monster with a volcano on its back. WEAPON: Lightning HOW TO KILL: Generate mega lightning. Do not fire until the air above you is free of falling debris. Be patient! World 4 DESCRIPTION: A pirate jet fighter mecha which changes into a fire-breathing pirate robot. WEAPON: Water HOW TO KILL: After firing four missiles, the jet will change into the robot. While the mecha is a jet, fire small bubbles at it. Block the missiles with your parasol. Try to predict when the jet will change shape and try to get above it when it does change. Grow mega water drops and hit the robot with the wave. World 5 DESCRIPTION: A girl in a chariot who throws deadly money at you. WEAPON: Lightning HOW TO KILL: You'll notice that the money she throws goes up and away from her, so you can stand next to her and hit her without getting hit by the money. Grow a mega lightning drop, get next to her and hit her. She's slow, so you should move under or over her whenever possible so that you don't get pinned to the wall. World 6 DESCRIPTION: Space Invader saucer WEAPON: Fire HOW TO KILL: Grow mega fire drops. After the saucer touches a wall five times, it will try to crush you. After the fourth touch, move toward the side which the saucer will make touch #5, then drop your fire in the middle of the screen, and then generate another mega fire drop. Once you see where it's going to land, drop more fire in that area. World 7 DESCRIPTION: Mecha mighta. In Bubble Bobble and Bubble Symphony, mightas are the guys who look like ghosts and fire boulders at you. This mechanical mighta throws boomerangs. WEAPON: Stars HOW TO KILL: Grow mega star drops. Fire the stars from the second floor of the level, then drop down to the first level to regenerate drops. While regenerating drops, move toward the first boomerang fired at you (the second boomerang will always head to a point away from the first boomerang, so if you move toward the first, you're headed away from the second!). You could stay on the first floor the whole time, but I like to move to the second floor because it causes at least one set of boomerangs to head toward the second floor while I'm regenerating drops on the first floor. World 8 DESCRIPTION: WEAPON: HOW TO KILL: --------------------------------------------------------------- THANKS TO: --------------------------------------------------------------- Valley Soft for finding for me Parasol Stars. The Sweet Cheater file on Aminet. Although it contains a lot of hoaxes, the Parasol Stars part was mostly accurate. This FAQ has the correct code information. --------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 1996,1997 Carl Chavez.
