Language: English (Although it is a Japanese game, there is no Japanese expect on the title screen) Features: After entering in your name you can choose from the following modes: Classic “Endless Tetris”, Stage Clear Tetris (with garage at higher levels), Magic Tetris “Endless”, Stage Clear Magic Tetris, Stage Clear Spark Tetris, and Puzzle Spark Tetris. 2.0 Modes: 2.1 Tetris “Endless”: You can choose a starting speed from 0 to 20, you score more when you are at higher speeds. Every 10 lines you will increase in speed by one unless you started at a higher speed than 1, then you will increase at 10 * level, after that increase all further increases will be at every 10 lines, e.g. if you start at level 10 you will stay at 10 until you reach 100 lines at which point you will be at level 11. The maximum speed you can get is S9 (The S is actually a 3 so there at 39 speeds). If you manage this your score will be at about maximum and you will barley be able to see the block before it hits the ground (even if the field is empty). As you increase in Speed the background will change. Regardless the game will not end until a block ends up above the line (or partly above the line). 2.2 Stage Clear Tetris: Start by choosing a starting speed (0 to 9) and then choose a stage (0 to 5). You will be only be able to choose stages if you have beaten the previous stage at speed level 9 (stage 0 is always available), you may choose any speed you want. Each round requires that you get 25 lines, after beating a stage you will do the same stage again, expect with one higher speed, after level 9 you will get a cute animation of a magic show, and increase in stage by one and go back to speed 0. Each stage above 0 has garbage (stage 1 has 6 lines of garbage). You will have 3 lives total (if you go over you loose a life and have to do the round over). 2.3 Magic Tetris “Endless”: Just like classic Tetris expect, pieces and groups of pieces will fall if they are not connected to other pieces, you get to see the next 4 pieces, rotating a piece will adjust its color meter, After rotating once counter-clockwise the color will change (blue -> red, red -> green, green -> red). Rotating the piece clockwise 4 times will change the color in reverse. If you rotate counter-clockwise and then clockwise the piece will go back to its original color. There are also two other less common colors (flashing and gray, neither colors can be changed), gray pieces will only be three, two , or one block big and they do not disappear when you clear a line. Clearing a line with only one color (may include flashing color), will destroy all pieces of that color and turn all gray blocks into that color. Blocks will then to clump in color that is you will often see 4 to 5 of a single color in a row (Flashing does not count and gray you will not see more that 3 at once). 2.4 Magic Tetris Stage Clear: Just like stage clear for classic Tetris expect with the Magic Tetris rules. 2.5 Spark Tetris stage clear: Spark Tetris is unlike regular Tetris. About 3 in 4 block have a single bomb icon in one of the blocks, every 1 in 20 or so is made completely of bombs. Forming a line will trigger all bombs in that line, the bomb will destroy itself and two blocks directly above, below, to the right and to the left. Any bombs caught in the explosion will also activate possibly causing chain reactions. Completing more than one line at once will increase the range of the bomb, by one per extra line. A line without bombs will not be erased, but instead add to the number of lines at the next line completed. If 4 bombs form a square they will combine to form a super bomb and detonating it will produce a much larger range. At the start of each stage there will already be pieces (and possible bombs) on the field, you have 100 blocks to destroy everything on the field. When there are only a few block left the next one or two pieces will become all bombs. You can increase the number of blocks you have left by creating super bombs (+1), or getting multiple lines at once 4 gives +2 while 8 gives +50! Any extra block at the end is your score. Every stage also increases in speed and there are about 35 stages in all. The three best high scores are kept for each stage. Only your best score will count toward your overall score. 2.6 Spark Tetris Puzzle: Just like Spark Tetris expect you are given a set of predefined pieces to destroy all blocks. Also there is a clay piece that stops explosions and after it is touched by an explosion will turn into a regular piece and there are spiked pieces that never go away and stop all explosions, you don’t need to destroy these pieces to solve the puzzle. The speed is really slow and you can press select at any time to give up. There are 100 puzzles in all, and you can do them in any order you want. They are arranged from easy to hard (although there are a few easy one latter on) and puzzles will range from 1 to 5 pieces with the exception of the last one which has 21. A chart will show you which puzzles you have finished. 3.0 Two player: 3.1 Tetris: Every line you clear is sent to your opponent as a line with a piece missing in a spot if any pieces get pushed above the line they will simply disappear. The spot is the same spot for 10 lines then the gap will change to a new position. Lines are not added until your piece hits the ground. Each player may set his/her own difficulty level (garbage level up to 5 and speed level up to 39). The first player to win 3 rounds wins the game. 3.2 Magic Tetris: Just like Tetris with every time you create a line with the same color all the blocks that disappeared are sent to the opponent and your speed increases. The blocks are more likely to help your opponent by filling in gaps. So use when necessary. 3.3 Spark Tetris: Race to see who can finish the stage faster. There are 5 stages to choose from or you can choose random (a random choice will not change between rounds). Destroying pieces will send them over to your opponent (clay one can also be sent). 4.0 Multiplayer: This can be played with 2 to 4 players. The only made in multiplayer is Tetris expect you only have a width of 7 block instead 10 and when the blocks rise they copy the bottom row. A indicator on the bottom will rotate between +xP (where x is 1 to 4) +All, -All –yP (where y is you player number). When you clear a line the effect shown at the bottom will take place adding or deleting rows. (Yes you can add rows to your self) if you get multiple rows you will multiply the result. 5.0 Sound mode: You can listen to all the sounds and music in the game as one of the option when you start the game up. You also get a right and left volume indicator. 6.0 Final Word: I really did like this game and the amount of stuff available. The only major down fall is no AI, but this game is great for single player and good for multiplayer too. 7.0 Legal: Use of this FAQ: You may use this FAQ for any purpose, edit it, include it in other material, I just ask that you include my name (you don’t have to). 8.0 Other Faqs that I have written: Card Hero Trading and Battle (GBC).
