For my other guides: http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/74803.html o---------------------o CONTROLS o---------------------o You will mostly rely on using the cardinal directions to maneuver through the maze. Other than that: PLUNGE DOWN (Button 1): Load Maze TWIST LEFT (Button 4): Leave a trail while moving TWIST RIGHT (Button 3): Leave a trail by moving o---------------------o GAMEPLAY o---------------------o There are four types of mazes: Maze, Jailbreak, Blind Man's Bluff, and Trail- blazer. Maze: This is your average maze where you try to look ahead and try to avoid the dead ends. Jailbreak: The maze is all grid where the mice must bump their way through the maze eliminating false gridlines. If it is an actual wall, they will stop moving and squeak. Blind Man's Bluff: The maze is totally invisible. Trailblazer: Use your trail to mislead you opponent. You also have a hidden number selection as well and it will determine whether you want to add the evil cat to the mix. Using 1-4 on the console will add the cat and determine its speed, using 1-4 via controller will determine mice speed but takes away the cat. The higher the number, the higher the speed. On the controller: Right = 1 Left = 2 Down = 3 Up = 4 Keep this in mind when choosing the mice speed or maze type when the current maze ends. 1 = slow mouse/Maze 2 = fast mouse/Jailbreak 3 = faster mouse/Blind Man's Bluff 4 = super mouse/Trailblazer Extra Notes: -This is strictly a 2-player game. Red represents player 1 and Blue represents player 2. -The maze is randomly generated. Therefore, don't expect any special strategies from me. -The mice have distinctive squeeks when it bumps into a wall. Red has a high one and blue has low one. -The cat is lurking when choosing the cat and mouse mode. Use 1-4 on the console to determine how fast it moves. If it catches the mouse, it will eat it and the player is out of the game. 1 = slow cat 2 = fast cat 3 = faster cat 4 = super cat -There are two hidden games: Paranoia and Double Paranoia. Both players must PLUNGE DOWN and keep the joystick centered to play a game for Paranoia where no mouse can exit until the other has been eaten by the cat. Double Paranoia is another way of say Endless "No way out" mode and you choose that by tilting the joystick after both players PLUNGE DOWN, the game won't end because there is no cat to eat the opposing player. o---------------------o CREDITS o---------------------o Fairchild for making the game.
